hyped beyond belief. really dig the progression K.dot's showing on each album. Looks like working with FlyLo really has influenced this album... only thing I'm worried about is the difference between the live version and the studio version. IMO the studio version of i is fine, but the live version (check his SNL appearance) is bananas, way better than the studio. I'm hoping the stuff that makes this track pop– the intensity verse, the sax solo, thundercat on bass– are kept intact on the studio version. Last thing I want is an album of average tracks that are exceptional only when heard live... just my two cents. either way, so stoked for this album, hope it comes out soon

I had heard of him over ten years ago and met him far before section 80, when I was in highschool I was the first guy to show up to the Game's concert in 06 so he let me on stage and back stage after the show, got Kendrick's mixtape and smoked a blunt with K-Dot, Jay Rock and The Game before anyone knew who Kendrick was.
I say GKMC is overrated simply because it is, I have no grudge with Kendrick at all.
