Boston Singer Dead At 55

2007-03-09 by clairvoyant | 14 Comments
From WMUR 9 New Hampshire:

Bradley Delp, the lead singer of the 1970s band Boston, died Friday at his home in Atkinson.

Police are calling Delp's death "untimely," but they said there was no indication of foul play. Investigators said he was apparently alone at the time of his death.

Delp, 55, was preparing for a summer tour with Boston and was also planning to get married this summer.

there were points in my life- many of them, where I came close to buying a Boston record.

This is a sad day. Boston is my favorite classic rock band. They currently hold the highest number of units sold of a debut album in the United States.

Whilst I am not a huge classic rock fan, this is still really sad news.

I was never a huge fan of Boston, but my dad liked them a lot. More Than A Feeling and Piece of Mind are both great songs for their time.
