Want to see this movie, whens it coming out
|

Oh nvm a streaming link is available

This sounds awesome, just a bit dissapointing that they just keep saying 'short' film. It's much more rewarding to watch something that's really fleshed out and complete.
|
| |
Why would a short film not be as fleshed out and complete as a long one? They're usually a lot better and more to the
point than 3 hour long epics as well as being less costly or scattered. Think of them as the cinematographic equivalent of
an EP

On a sidenote this flick looks really good

I wasn't saying it needs to be a 3 hour epic, overly long films can be very boring, alot of Space Odyssey puts me to sleep. It takes the spaceship like 5 minutes to land in the one scene just so Thus Zarathustra can play along side it. I just hope it turns out good enough to be something that's rewatchable.

Space Odyssey is one of my favorite films, so ouch but I get how some people don't like it. I was thinking more about Inland Empire (It's interesting like most of Lynch's stuff but fuck does it need patience).
Well they showed a few images in the trailer and they looked neat. Did they say when it was coming out?

No I really like Space Odyssey, but a few parts like that towards the beginning can be difficult to sit through because they are so long. The whole movie overall is fantastic. I was unable to find a release date for this though. The soundtrack is 20 minutes so hopefully the film will be a bit longer than that.

Cool, love me some sci-fi

Hello, I am the writer and director of The Pod. I'm stoked to hear the few of you are excited about the soundtrack / film. Toby and I really have not done much with the cassettes (even a year after the film was completed). But I have a webstore set up with The Pod merchandise, including the cassettes. Here is the link if any of you are interested in picking one up.

thanks for your interest (if this comment should reach any of you a year later)
