SUCKS
| |
9 minutes? oh man here we go...
| |
yeah this is pretty boring
| |
I sort of dig some of what they're going for here but that "Iheartradio on demand" was such a fucking turn off lol
Need to hear it without that
| |
Way to long - it's long for the sake of being long - total BS song man
| |
Starts off slow, gets better about 6 1/2 minutes in...... If the album sounds like the end then I have hope, otherwise.......
| |
yeah, and the riffs that sound like they could be good just sound like recycled riffs from the 70s stuff. Booooooring.
| |
sweet
| |
I'm excited.
| |
I liked it, but it was a little dull in parts
| |
Tony Iommi is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Man can write some great riffs when he has cancer.
| |
Also the actual song sounds a lot better than that stream. You can actually hear Geezers bass throughout the song
| |
Is pretty decent and enjoyable. Still, this song could be a little bit shorter.Anyways, I like long epic songs and Iommi's solo is very good so is time to play this until midngiht.
| |
"Also the actual song sounds a lot better than that stream. You can actually hear Geezers bass throughout the song"
I had no trouble detecting the bass at all
| |
I didn't think this was that bad. In fact I thought it was pretty good. The whole repetitive riff-driven structure does kind of make the song feel stagnant a bit, and I get that it's to set the menacing atmosphere, but it could use some trimming.
It's kind of a return to Master Of Reality's slow, doomy feel, which I for one am happy to hear. The guys don't sound too bad. I was expecting this to be mediocre at best, but it sounds it could be pretty decent.
| |
the devil u kno was better that line up should get back together yea
| |
hologram dio
| |
hmmmmmm this is interesting
| |
Based on that song alone it's a 3-3.5/5 for me. And call me whatever you want but I never really clicked with older metal like Sabbath (or even Maiden).
| |
I really like it actually. Great to hear Ozzy again, and the latter half rules. I can agree that's it's slow, but as someone mentioned, it seems as if they're going for that eerie Master of Reality sound. Can we all agree this is far better than the last few albums at least?
| |
It's actually not THAT bad, I expected far worse; 3.5-4.
| |
it's soooo average.
| |
I liked it. The "iheartradio.com" ads were really annoying though. It could be trimmed down a little bit, but yeah I like it.
| |
Based on the editor review on itunes it's not even a standout track. This gives the album some hope of being a 3.5 to 4 average.
| |
I'm kinda mixed, but overall, it was really good. Looking so forward to the rest of the album.
| |
Its not horrible. Its sort of recycled stuff from the old days, but its still an alright return to form i suppose.
| |
Damn. This is pretty great. I am honestly shocked and extremely pleased
| |
I enjoyed the song. The advertisements detracted from it and the quality wasn't the best but the last 4 minutes rocked.

For those who don't want the "ads"
| |
Good song, if it wasn't so long it would be a great song.
| |
its ok.... it sounds like a mixture of a Ozzy solo-career song and a The Devil You Know b-side...
I was expecting something great.... and I didn't get it.
| |
not bad but drags a bit could be better coming from them
miss old Ozzy's voice hard
| |
not bad bit boring iommi is still the man though fuck i heart radio
| |
i loved the song it sounded awesome and it sounds like what a modern black sabbath should sound like.
| |
"fuck i heart radio"
so much
| |
song's awesome, if it came out back in the 70's you bitches wouldn't be complaining
| |
Sounds like Solo era Ozzy and The Devil you Know which to be honest is probably what we should be happy with.
| |
I felt it was decent overall, but as with some of you, I was annoyed by the "I Heart Radio" interruptions throughout the song.
| |
Song was decent. Clearly it won't be that bad.
| |
"if it came out back in the 70's you bitches wouldn't be complaining"
True statement.
| |
I expected shit and got something mad decent. Inspires some hope.
| |
Love it!
| |
Its ok
| |
Now, I don't know a lot of Black Sabbath songs, but the riffs in this sound a lot meatier than their earlier ozzy stuff...
| |
Tony's guitar sound definitely hasn't suffered from modern recording technology, that's for sure.
| |
drugs or no drugs, it's still a lot better than i anticipated.
| |
pretty good. riffs were tight
| |
Is it just me, or does Ozzy sounds really lacklustre nowadays?
Glad Brad Wilk doesn't go crazy and if I hadn't already known it wasn't Bill Ward on the kit I wouldn't have thought otherwise.
| |
Terrible...
| |
Ozzy is destroying an otherwise solid song. Lyrics are also terrible.
| |
better than anything in "The devil you know"
| |
whats up with you guys? im listening right now and its pretty good, reached the 5 minute mark and its all solid stuff so far, even excellent.
ozzy kinda sucks though, as usual
| |
Is it that bad that this is a long song? If your attention span is that of a goldfish, then yes. Have you ever listened to Black Sabbath? This is a great song and interestingly enough Ozzy's voice is good. I'm not writing for Iommi or Geezer because they are almost always great.
As always, to each his own but for those who know Black Sabbath will most probably like the song.
| |
I really don't understand why you complain about you guys. The song is just great, and as far as I am concerned it is a solid 4.
| |
Song's nice.
Tony's riffs rule as usual.
| |
Can't wait to hear this after work
| |
This is pretty good.I wish it was a little shorter though
| |
Solid song. Solid Sabbath tune. I am excited for the album release.
| |
good to hear them returning to their roots
| |
i heart radio
fuck
| |
facu use this link, it's without the shitty advert.

| |
The production on ozzy's voice is a tad odd, otherwise really enjoyed the track with the lyrics only being the truly terrible component of the song (or what I've heard at least), all the rest was damn groovy and I'm having good hopes for the album now
| |
Just listened again, yeah I'm definitly digging this a bit
| |
This is not "War Pigs" or anything like it, but it's still solid. Really solid.
4/5.
| |
it's ok i suppose
| |
track rox 666
| |
hmm what could ozzy possible be singing about these days.. nvrmnd dont wanna find out
| |
Ugh, religious old men guilt.
| |
The riffs are cool. Never been the biggest Black Sabbath fan.
| |
it's adequate
| |
I approve of this.
| |
Stoked!
| |
Stoked!
| |
It definitely sounds like doom metal, which is a relief.
| |
I quite like it. Certainly better to Sabbath than what Super Collider is to Megadeth *sigh* keep on Black Sabbath
| |
I must say, i quite like it. Would've liked a guitar solo in there but still pretty good in my opinion.
| |
There is another single out live, I wrote a new this morning but I guess Sputnik didn't read the news
and saw the title "Black Sabbath New Single" and deleted it thinking it was this one...
| |
Pretty good
| |
Anyone see the "End of the Beginning" live footage? it's pretty sweet.
| |
iommi still rules as per usual, dirty riffs
but needs old ozzy vocals
| |
Mikael Akerfeldt wrote the lyrics.
| |
This one left me with mixed feelings. I still hope that the rest of the album will be slightly better although I don't have huge expectations for this album.
| |
This is surprisingly great.
| |
i'm digging it. It is a bit long, but its very doomy and thats what old Sabbath was like. I'm definitely excited. The last few minutes are awesome
| |
IHEARTRADIO
| |
yeah good stuff
doesnt feel forced at all
| |
