I've definitely been in bands with this situation where some member's work ethics eventually brought the band down. It's tough finding all the right members, not everyone has the work ethic to be a dedicated member in a serious band.

He did say something but without tantrum and with a a gentlemanly approach to the matter. I appreciate it, while I hardly believe that the guys aren't committed to the band (they played two new songs in their last tour) and they toured almost continuously in the past few months..

I'm not going to lie I have been in bands like this and I completely understand his bitterness towards his departure. The only fucked up thing is that he said "I certainly will not miss the band" , thats kind of a punch in the dick because being in a band is more than just a work ethic. You become a family. And he pretty much just spit in their face saying he won't miss them. I can't wait to hear his new project though.
