It's good yeah

???
| |
What was the first song released?
| |
Man these fucking AP links never work like they should
| |
The link is wrong. Or it's non-functional now at least.

| |
Use the one I just posted. For whatever reason AP links do this frequently in news articles, not sure why.
| |
Just post the link from YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=shaHdcVzwH8
| |
So fucking pumped for this.
| |
But then the tour dates and such won't be linked, which wouldn't be necessary but I mentioned them in the article.
| |
Hehe, your link worked, but I found the YT video faster . Thanks anyway man.
| |
Song is fairly boring, I love TDH etcetc but meh
| |
For whatever a reason a random space shows up in the article but it's not there when I go to edit.
| |
I liked it alright
| |
Goddammit, I love The Dear Hunter.
| |
Every time this band pops up i think of the band Deerhunter, not the same though.
| |
What was the first song released?
Whisper
| |
whisper was ridiculously boring, hope this is better
| |
this is more original than whisper. but still wasn't that entertained by it. wish they would take the creativity of the acts combined with the polish of the color spectrum.
| |
wow its fucking amazing what a surprise.
| |
I found whisper to be amazing, but this to be boring, it's just missing something, there's not enough to it.
| |
both songs thus far have ruled. can't wait for the album
| |
Holy hell that was beautiful.
| |
Cool, cool. Can't wait.
| |
Sounds like The Color Spectrum TDH meets Major/Minor Thrice. It's good but I liked Whisper better. This album should rule.
| |
a little boring at first listen. but that's also what i thought of st. peter from collisions and near misses, initially.
| |
not bad
| |
Not a fan of their new direction, it's like they've threw everything that made them unique in Act II/III away, and made an attempt to break into the Indie/Alt scene. Absolutely love this band, shame they've scrapped their more imaginative songwriting for this.
| |
I think I agree with that
| |
This is great. Itching to hear the new album
| |

They haven't thrown anything away, they're just doing something different for the moment.
| |
lol people complaining about a band progressing
| |
"lol people complaining about a band progressing"
The problem is that this progression sounds like regression
| |
pretty sure you're in the minority on that one.
| |
Casey spends most of his time trying to make a work cohesive across multiple albums. This is just him writing some stuff he wants to write, so don't necessarily expect it to be quite as spectacular as the Acts of The Color Spectrum.
| |
Good thing being in the majority doesn't automatically make your opinion the right one.
| |
^^^stop exaggerating all he said was you're in the minority you drama queen.
| |
not really liking this that much
| |
It's more pop but those choruses he crafts are just so colourful. This sounds amazing and I'm itching to get my copy of the album through. It's time these guys had a go at cracking Europe. New direction is a perfect addition to the theatric explosive style of the acts.
