Cool video, song's decent.
| |
but lets talk about olis hair thats what is important
| |
The La Li Lu Le Lo!
| |
Shinfo! By the way: Why did that guitar player leave?
| |
Wabble wabble, shake it shake it.
| |
video's ok
| |
@jacksoffalot your name says it all m8
| |
I can dig it. Needs more MGS references though. NANOMACHINES! THE PATRIOTS! MISPLACED FAN SERVICE!
| |
Good video but holy fuck that shifting effect throughout the whole video is awful.
| |
Ok video, typical BMTH song, not bad but not good either.
| |
A lot better than their older shit.
| |
i don't really like the song that much
| |
I can dig it. Needs more MGS references though. NANOMACHINES! THE PATRIOTS! MISPLACED FAN SERVICE!
isn't the fact that the Metal Gear Rising demo comes out the same day as the video enough?
| |
sometimes I envy the ps users
| |
I still would have preferred another band to make a MGS reference.
| |
This is so fun.
| |
video is cool...song is tolerable. meh.
| |
A lot of the guitar parts are just a slightly different version of Diamonds Aren't Forever. Similar notes and rythm.
| |
That shaky cam is fucking annoying.
| |
Song is good, video is shaky. Still don't see how Oli thinks this album is so monumental for them and didn't think they were capable of writing it, eh maybe I'll have to wait to hear the rest, I never they were anything more than decent.
| |
I didn't like any of their other stuff, couldn't get into it what-so-ever, but I find this decent. I'll check out whatever new album this is for
| |
I like how they're performing in a snowy environment, like Shadow Moses Island. Been playing MGS4 lately, so I'm on a bit of a kick. Song and vid aren't bad - they've improved a lot.
| |
Band has matured a bit. Still lots of chugga chugga here though.
| |
i love this song, annoying video though
| |
It's pretty good compared to their old shit
| |
Really liked the song...Video was headache inducing......
| |
these guys do not look like a metal band, appearance wise
| |
New vid for old song. Still repetitive and mediocre. They can't even play a hardcore punk riff correctly.
| |
I'm just glad to see this band finally try like they did last album. I still didn't really like the last album but they're without a doubt improving and shedding their scene style they used to have.
| |
these guys do not look like a metal band, appearance wise
That's the hot thing these days, didn't you know?
| |
this was meh. cool video, but the song is very meh.....I liked the "This is sempiternal!" part though.
| |
A lot of the guitar parts are just a slightly different version of Diamonds Aren't Forever. Similar notes and rythm.
I agree with this. They do recycle a lot of their stuff, but somehow I found this to be enjoyable. Dig this over their last album which I wasn't very fond of. I'll probably check out the rest of the album for sure since single's can be misleading at times.
| |
I still would have preferred another band to make a MGS reference.
Dude, calm down. Anyone can play/love video games.
| |
Decent, i guess.
| |
A lot better than their older shit. [2]
| |
I never thought I would call myself a BMTH fan, but damn, you can't deny that last album.
| |
It amazes me that bands like this even have a fan base. Just awful...not to mention the annoying video. Oh, and you guys haven't fooled anyone into thinking you're smart by using the word "sempiternal" that you probably heard someone actually smart say or read in a really pretentious book. Douchesnozzles....
| |
Great song, good video. Could be album of the year.. amazing considering how shit / hated they used to be
| |
guys what if this only seems good because their old stuff was so much worse
| |
AOTY is a big stretch, but yeah they've been a guilty pleasure of mine since This Is Hell. sucker for dat production and echoed vocals
| |
The song is growing on me, but god is that effect on the video annoying.
| |
@NorwichScene I didn't think that this would happen so early, but I guess we're already opening up nominations for "Dumbest
Comment of the Year?"
| |
OH GOD THE ELITISTS HAVE FOUND SPUTNIK RUN FOR YOUR LIVES
Anyway good song, has promise. Still expect them to get a new second guitarist.
| |
Sputnik is where elitists are born
Sounds like an exact continuation of There Is A Hell... so album should be pretty good
| |
You haven't seen the Metal Hammer Facebook page.
| |
I only dug the song "it never ends" from their last album but this is just meh. the "WE'RE GOING NOWHERE" is lame. The one-note metalcore junz are lame. His screams are lame. Wow this is really lame.
| |
can junz bloom on a battlefield
| |
sucks
| |
Don't know if i should be embarrassed by the fact that i didn't hate this, the only BMTH album i didn't dislike is the 1st one because of its death metal leanings, absolutely hated the last album though this is the best i've heard from them since 1st album. Progress?
| |
"isn't the fact that the Metal Gear Rising demo comes out the same day as the video enough?"
Not if you've had the demo since ZOE HD Collection came out.
| |
Good song, cool video. yeah the shaking camera effect would have been much better used in moderation. I'm pumped for the new record. It's weird seeing them with a key player.
| |
pretty average, just like the rest of their material
"That's the hot thing these days, didn't you know?"
I actually just noticed for some odd reason
| |
thats good. I think it was pretty dumb
| |
should put out another single. this one gets boring quickly.
| |
ew.
| |
terrible band
| |
that video was fucking great. i'm officially re-pumped for this album.
| |
its pretty good, not amazing.
| |
It never ends sucked ass, lol.
| |
Guitar work is like non existent
| |
SICK METAL
| |
got fucking motion sick over here
| |
I like it.
Never apologists are they though? Big-ass breakdown right away, crowd vocals all over the place...ugh.
| |
dig it. MGS is my favorite game series, it would have been cool to see more mention of it in the track. oli must be a fan, i'm wondering why he chose the title. i think they have grown pretty well though along with each release.
| |
^
Is the song title and the fact it's on a snowy island not enough for you? lol
Video is pretty cool. Interesting directing. Still a bit sore Jona isn't with these guys, he was the only one I actually like. haha
| |
Video is kinda disappointing.
Song is good but I'm a bit anxious about the album
| |
I kinda like it. It's that arty style Alligator Blood had. Beats all that "we party hard" videos they've done.
| |
Most of it sounds more Suicide Season-y to me, which of course isn't good, the chorus is what makes the song.
| |
fuckin rulessssss
| |
ye that chelsea smile video was horribly cheesy
| |
haha I see what you're saying. I enjoyed SS though.
| |
Fair enough, I thought everything up until There Is a Hell... was unbearable.
| |
i really dislike all that "we party so hard maaan" stuff
| |
I'll agree There is a Hell... is much better. I put that credit down to Jona being with them. Not that I know this for a fact, but a bit of a coincidence, no?
| |
Jona brought the Post-Rock edge to BMTH, agreed.
| |
I've been looking at Jona's tweets and it looks like he could have been pushed out the band rather than leaving to do I Killed the Prom Queen... sad news if it's true.
| |
Probably Oli being an egotistical prick like always
| |
Aye, I thought as much too.
Douche. Bag.
| |
He's matured slightly, but can still be a whiny bitch
| |
"these guys do not look like a metal band, appearance wise"
That has to be the dumbest comment i've read this month, jeez
| |
Crucify Me is the best song on There Is A Hell but The Sadness Will Never End is their best song as a
band
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHkiWaVdVkE
Sam Carter kills it
| |
I WONT GIVE UP ON YOU
| |
fuck this band [3]
| |
This is good but Crucify Me still trumps all. Probably their best song along. Visions is a very underrated track which i also find amazing. this is decent
| |
"We're going nowhere" is ironically a very fitting description of this band.
| |
"We're going nowhere" is ironically a very fitting description of this band.
This is actually wrong. I gave SS a quick spin today and the change from that to now is quite different. They have matured somewhat.
| |
I think compared to SS, their new stuff is great. SS was their only really bad release in my opinion.
| |
so we enter shikari now
| |
One Direction is one of the biggest bands around right now too.
Boom.
| |
Ok song, video makes me feel ill
| |
This band is slowly improving.
Maybe after a few years they'll even release something tolerable.
| |
Song is actually decent I guess. Didn't like it at first.
| |
Ha, Doesn't take away the validity of my point, tho. Lotsa bad things are big.
Don't take it personally, I just disdain this band.
| |
"I was just saying they've definitely gone places as a band"
such as andcas's anus
| |
This song is pretty cool, and I didn't expect it to be. It is a little bit too long for how
straightforward it is, though.
| |
''Uploader has not made this video available in your country'' A sentence Youtubers dread. Never been a big fan of this band anyway. And yes Jona left to do IKTPQ.
| |
Loved the video conceptually, was definitely shot in an interesting way. Song is great too considering most all of their old stuff is just trash.
| |
this would rule if not for the fucking gang vox ugh
| |
surprise surprise
| |
@70sPriestIsBetter
I think by saying that to andcas you are just trying to cover up the fact that you like shoving things up your anus. Im glad that you came out of the closet but did you really have to come out and announce it for everyone to see on Sputnik? C'mon man, really?
| |
they make a gritty, to the point metalcore album and everyone hates them
then they turn up the production, chuck in some synths and everyone loves them
ok then
| |
This band is slowly improving.
Maybe after a few years they'll even release something tolerable.
Nah, back to a decline now Jona is gone. Jobs fucked. Back to SS sound again I predict.
| |
I just have a feeling that Jona was the main reason There is a Hell... was so good. I think if this album is good it all depends on whether he was their to write it all with them. Then any album after that, it'll be a step back. Just my prediction though...
| |
Jona has nothing to do with it
| |
Agreed. Jona was good for them but he didn't make the band. They got good with experience
| |
Not bad. Video destroyed my eyes though
| |
