Still haven't listened to their newest album but loved Social Event and Slander wasn't terrible..

I'd wager that most bands that have the opportunity to leave Victory for another label will at some point. They've been known to do some pretty unprofessional stuff and have been pretty disrespectful to some of their artists.

I'm friends with the guys in Counterparts and behind the scenes they honestly have nothing but good things to say about Victory. I was surprised but they seem to be happy with them for now.

The new Blackguard album wasn't bad, if you're into that stuff. I liked Dr. Acula more when they weren't a generic deathcore band, that's all. Victory really does lack great artists for the most part. Except for Counterparts, Streetlight Manifesto, Four Letter Lie, etc. I'm probably leaving some out.

Sounds like they broke up because they developed really bad drug habits, probably had to sell all their equipment to buy stampbags. That's what you get for writing shitty music about doing tons of coke and popping pills.

Yeah they hate when people make comments about how "Viktahry iz GHeyY" cause they associate them with
DTS and ADTR and shit. It's just a label to pay for recordings and get them good tours.

EDIT: Also Brendan told me that the only other real offer they had was from Mediaskare which had like
a significantly lower recording budget and he said he would've been stupid not to sign with Victory.

Well imo Counterparts is the best band on Victory (is Streelight still with them? I won't count them), so if they're happy, good for them. They're talented dudes and they deserve the exposure.
