I think Rick Rubin, best case scenario, will work his "magic" (or lack therof, depending on the band & album), will help
inspire them but ended up compressing the shit out of their music anyways.

Worst case scenario is he'll suggest bringing in back Ice-T for a mediocre rap/metal song a'la Forbidden (fuck that
album), compress the shit out of the album & then force them to feature Muse in the linear notes for using some sort of
shitty sample in the background.

But I guess as long as Vinny Aprice doesn't end up being the replacement for Bill Ward on the album, I'll give it a shot;
they should aim for hiring someone who plays like Ward, at least. Reunion proved they still have the capability to play
(but not really the inspiration to create, as the two mediocre made for Reunion songs proved), at least, back in the 90's.

I read Iommi's autobiography recently and he says he's got years worth of riffs he's waiting to unleash so high hopes for that part. Ozzy's vox not so much.
