Coheed and Cambria have released the album version of their new single Domino The Destitute and the music video accompaniment.
The track is the first released song from their highly anticipated upcoming release, which is going to be released in two parts. The first part, Ascension, releases on Oct. 9th, 2012, and the second part, Descension, releases in February of 2013. Song is epic...Very much has a feeling of 'The Crowing' meets 'No World for Tomorrow (the song)', can't wait for the
albums.

I thought that Josh's didn't drum on the 'No World for Tomorrow' album... I thought this was a Taylor Hawkin's effort?

Josh didn't drum on NWFT.

Song is solid, and a bit of a grower for sure.

I have managed to get my hopes up ridiculously high for this album. I think this/these albums are gonna be on par with the first three.

Would need to give it time...after giving it several listens though it sounds like it could have been in the hight teens/low 20s.

it's good. a bit of a grower for me

i kinda wish they'd go all-in and use their videos as another medium to tell the whole keywork saga. their videos just never seem to live up to the grandiose of it all, for me anyways

Sorry guys, I botched that bad haha. It was TH drumming on NWFT but for some reason I accidentally put that as Josh's last one. Album will rule though

Did anybody else pre-order the album? The box-set is going to be so sweet!

Thought I would be disappointed by this but it rules. Definitely sounds like the coheed from Volume 1. Not gonna get my hopes up from one song though after the last 2 disappointments.

Yeah it's good and all but did it really have to be 8 minutes long? The song should have retired the 4th minute.

Huge letdown after "Sentry The Defiant." When I heard that song for the first time, I got chills and envisioned a return to SSTB form, but I guess that was misguided. More bloat and muted emotion. I'm really pulling for thess albums to be great, so hopefully this is just a disappointing single.
