heard some of their new songs a few months ago, lot of ambience, lots n LOTS of progressive elements. didn't hear a breakdown in the middle either.

album is gonna rule hard, though. With Exoplanet, I predicted (well, me and many others it seems) that this band would do great things.

They're a bit propgy, their breakdowns for the most part are not, Exoplanet used the same sounding ones too much, I hope they move past that.

Exoplanet definitely had a bit too much deathcore in it for my tastes, but they did do a good job at mixing the prog and the deathcore well. Like Flourish. Fuck that song is hngggg.

I'm pretty familiar with the band, yes. Their new stuff will be more progressive than their past albums, from what I heard they toned down the junz a bit.

The main reason I really like this band.

I could listen to Flourish and Oscillator on repeat for a loooong time.. and I have. I can't think of a single other band that does such epic melodic pieces. My only complaint is that there isn't more of that stuff, they do it so well it's hard not to want more of it. Heavy is good and all but fuuuuuck that stuff is so awesome.

You're right man, it's definitely why they stand out in an otherwise awful genre. The argument could also be made that those sections wouldn't be as effective is they occured more often. But I would agree with you that they should experiment with it a bit more than they already do.

Excited for this. Exoplanet is so good.

The fact that they had to rush writing and recording Exoplanet makes me believe that this will be incredible, based off of the live tracks on youtube and the fact that Exoplanet was fucking awesome itself.

Band's can still employ breakdowns often throughout their music and not have it detract from their tunes. If it's done right, and not used as a cruch, there's nothing wrong with them. The Opposite of December by Poison The Well is a classic example of this.

Deathcore kids on the site act like they don't like breakdowns.

This shall be worth checking into. I honestly feel they will be able to blow their previous release way the fuck out of the water.

Vocalist does kinda suck.

Even though I like this band some of these comments are just pathetic of how much praise they give these guys like their the second coming. It's good deathcore but not album of the year material some said about Exoplanet.

Hopefully Jonathan won't be as br00tal this album, but it honestly never bothered me that much. The instrumentals make up for it.

This made me want to listen to Exoplanet again... So I did. And I came to the conclusion the vocalist ruins a lot of the material for me. His growls are so dull and there's little to no variation to them throughout the abum. If they had a great vocalist I would absolutely love this band.
