from what I've heard from the album now, I'd say this is sounding even better. their first album is too goddamn long, and the vocals tend to be a bit gritting at times. it's a good record, but I guess it's a 3-3.25 for me

The only thing I don't like about this band is the harsh vocals. To me they sound like a slightly heavier version of Austin Carlile from OM&M

I pray it's just Periphery II and nothing more. Clip sounds a lot more progressive metal-like and less djenty but hopefully there will be moments.

Also nice to see there are 14 tracks instead of an underwhelming 10 or something like that. Track titles are lame as expected, but I'm really happy to see the band made a song out of Bulb's Froggin' Bullfish; the guitar in that song is killer.

To say I am excited for this would be the understatement of the century. But yeah, the full name is "Periphery II: This Time It's Personal". It's in the album booklet, apparently.

Durrzo
May 30th 2012

Yeah that's the full name. You just won't see it posted everywhere because Sumerian is convinced that the name will hurt the sales so they leave it out whenever they post anything about it.

"Periphery II: This Time It's Personal" is indeed the full album title. Misha said the label just didn't want to advertise it as such, but the booklet and all that jazz will have the full title.

Pretty damn pumped for this. Preview sounded rad.
