Josh is such a weird replacement. Stylistically the band are totally different. Not to mention disproportion in skill.

these guys seem to be in terminal decline with each release worse than the last. I'm not really very excited about this new album.

These Colours Don't Run and Devils Island both make me think that the new album will still be rubbish. They really forgot who they were after they'd released Hollow Crown, which for all it's change to their sound really perfected the melodic/aggressive Architects mix.

Based on interviews and such around the time THAN was released, they all wanted to be a little softer on that record. It's possible that he didn't want to play heavy music again, though. But that's just a guess...

Sylosis is awesome, the Architects, not so much.

Maybe they will become less Metalcore, IE, suck less.
