Very nice

| |
Sadly, this is again not living up to expectation.
| |
Yeh :/
| |
Yeah, pretty much my thoughts, too. The lyrics sound a tad uninspired too. It's hard to judge a minute worth of audio, but I'm hoping the whole album isn't like this.

| |
Same ^

| |
Daybreaker album rating - 4.3
| |
itll be like a 3.4 when it actually comes out. calling it now
| |
boring band
| |
Nah 3.7
| |
it wont be higher than hollow crown though i bet you anything.
| |
This was great. WAT CHU TAKN BOUT?
| |
vocals suck
| |
The vocals in the beginning with the compressed effect are not to my taste but when they kick in I like it. I like the screams on THAN more than Hollow Crown just because of how they're produced. As i've said before though, despite the production, Hollow Crown is still their best so far.
| |
What are you talking about the production on Hollow Crown is part of what makes it so awesome
| |
I love this band, but I'm not sure how I feel about this. Vocals don't sound great and the lyrics are pretty bad. Also, the breakdown sounds a lot like devil's island. I'll wait until I hear the full song, though. Took me a few listens to realize how great day in day out was too when I first heard it.
| |
shitty
| |
I was really hoping for this album to be different than The Here and Now but after that I'm not so sure. I'm still looking forward to it though.
| |
I am one of the few who enjoyed THAN. It was a bad Architects album, but if it was any other band I'd have been pleased.
That said, this preview was somewhat of a letdown. Glad to hear the music as a whole returning to form, but fuck those vocals and lyrics are so cringe-inducing.
| |
The guitar work sounded great and the vocals sound alright to me. Sam does sound kind of weird at the beginning, but by 50 seconds in, his vocals sound like he did on Hollow Crown. The lyrics definitely weren't too impressive, though.
| |
I don't know what to think of this till I hear the full version. The music is very reminiscent of Hollow Crown though.
| |
I like it!
| |
sounds good.
| |
not feeling it. The riff is pretty uninspired, they did a similar one on Devil's Island and even then it sounded forced
| |
enjoyable.
| |
i'm liking the gritiness
| |
Just gave it another listen. Lyrics are horrid.
| |
Lyrics ruined it :/
| |
I already love this beyond words.
:D
| |
Lyrics fucking suck, but its nice to know they're steering to political subjects...
| |
I love the damn lyrics, I don't see what there is to dislike?
| |
lyrics feel a bit forced and awkward too

lyrics feel a bit forced and awkward too [2]
Very akward!
| |
I don't think Architects have it in them to top Hollow Crown =(
| |
I love the damn lyrics, I don't see what there is to dislike?
If basic rhyme schemes that come off cheesy, using the same word to end two sentences and talking about American "politics" when you are English seem like a good idea to you, then more power to you. Glad one person out of however many enjoys these shit tier lyrics
| |
^ I agree not bad, but awkward.
| |
Definitely different lyrical style for Sam
| |
I found this pretty weak.
| |
I haven't liked anything by them since Ruin and this song didn't change that.
| |
Ehh, not gonna be as good as Nightmares or Hollow Crown. They should just re-record Nightmares instead.
| |
^ that would be cool
| |
Way too small a clip to really know which album/what it will turn out being more like. I'm excited for this release still, a lot.
