I liked Howard, but they way Jesse sounded on Hymn of a Broken Man, he became the superior vocalist.

Of course, this assumes they'd be bringing Jesse back (which they probably will).

Out of all the proshots I've seen of him playing with Times of Grace, he's sounded below average.

Finally. End of Heartache was good, but everything after that wasn't worth listening to. Hopefully they'll get out of their rut if they find a new singer.

maybe. I saw them with LoG, Soilwork, and Devildriver......KsE was by far the worst. Only good part was the guitar player in between songs was cracking jokes about "the Hiv." Actual performance was awful though.

I can't really say I care, he wasn't a bad vocalist at all but I never really liked him. I like Jessie's performance on Times Of Grace's album so if they bring him back in, cool, but it's not like he's the only other vocalist out there, who knows, they could find someone better than Howard OR Jessie. I'm very interested to see who they end up with, just hope it's someone with skills.

Phil's already stated he won't be joining KsE, and I hope to god Vext doesn't either.

Would love Leach to return, but it won't happen. Dude has too many other projects going on, and when they asked him to fill in on Philswitch last year he only agreed to do a small no. of shows (can't remember the exact amount).

I am devastated that Howard left. He was the magic in this band, Jesse would be a great replacement but God this sucks!

Howard was great, The End of the Heartache was an awesome album. They seemed to be past their sell by date judging from their last couple of releases though.

Favorite metalcore vocalist period. I agree with the dude who said he was "the magic". I will miss him and his low tenor / baritone opera delivery. He was my favorite vocalist of theirs by far and I will miss him dearly.

I've never been a huge fan, but this is kind of dissapointing. I enjoyed The End of Heartache a bit. Blood Has Been Shed has been growing on me so hopefully he goes back to them and they release something. Also, I heard Jesse live with Times of Grace and really wasn't all that impressed.

As some of you may know, I've had a pretty interesting couple of years to say the least battling with some personal issues. One of the low points being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes that went unchecked for years. The rest of the band stuck with me through it, and to be honest they are the ones that kept me going. The whole experience definitely put a scare in me.

Recently we've all been in writing mode but somehow I couldn't get excited about the new album and all the touring that would go with it. The guys saw it before I did. In hindsight I now realize that my heart wasn't in it. I have had an amazing decade with KSE. I love Justin, MikeD, Joel and Adam for hanging in there and standing by me no matter how bad it was. I have so many good memories, and those are the ones that I will keep. Will I be involved in music again? Sure, I have been in bands for a little over half my life, can't stop now. I couldn't disagree more. That album did suck, but this is actually a chance for them to get out of the rut they've fallen into. If they can find a great new vocalist that actually improves the band's sound, and try some new things to go along with his style... it COULD be a fresh start. If anything they should be really motivated to do something awesome.
