Not bad.
| |
oh hey, this band.
if this is as generic as their last one, I'll probably enjoy it.
| |
missing something but do like
| |
Decent. They'll never top When I Am God though.
| |
^That's pretty depressing if its true.
| |
this band is generic, but imma have a listen
| |
^Funny coming from someone who has the New Reign as a 4.5
| |
name one band who sounds like boo in tnr
| |
"name one band who sounds like boo in tnr"
Every band on Sumerian records.
| |
who? the only band that comes close to boo on that album is vom's common mans collapse. and its a longshot
| |
Not really.
| |
pretty cool
| |
Solid and I'm not usually a fan. Reminds me of Inhale Exhale a bit.
| |
Waior's favourite band
Song sounds good, vocals are improved although sounds frighteningly similar to Underoath guy.
| |
i like this band.
| |

Circle of Contempt, Dead Letter Circus, The Faceless, Periphery, Stray from the Path, and Structures are all better then Born of Osiris.
| |
Forgot to mention they're all on Sumerian Records.
| |
I can dig it.
| |
Sounds better than their other stuff. Singing isn't too good though.
| |
They don't sound like boo
| |
SHUT
UP
ALREADY
| |
this song is a 2.5
| |
Songs decent in my books
| |
Great song, love the guitar
Also, album cover is fucking sick
| |
^ I second that... the artwork, that is. Didn't listen to the song.
| |
pretty sweet, still enjoy these guys
| |
i got really bored of their old stuff, this sounds ok...
| |
that was actually pretty good
| |
yep, sounds like oh sleeper
| |
Solid song. My main hope for this album was that Micah's voice would be improved and it sounds like it has.
| |
And yeah, the album cover is pretty badass.
| |
Song rules. Cover rules. Band rules.
Win.
| |
sounds better than the last album.
| |
The album artwork is, as expected, excellent. The song is kind of expected as well - I didn't think they'd be as lazy this time around as they were with Son of the Morning, so in that regard, it's better. At the same time, I didn't expect them to make anything groundbreaking or even anything nearing the quality of When I Am God.
They're way too clean-cut and predictable for a metalcore audience that's grown up beyond enjoying knowing exactly what's coming next. I still want them to break out into raw, messy prog-mode... they certainly have the chops. All they need now is the intellect and ambition.

Couldn't agree more.
| |
nothing special but also not bad
| |
What Waior said
| |
I'm interested to hear this when I get home. I used to listen to them a lot, but I haven't listened to them much lately. I'm honestly surprised you all like the cover. I mean, it's nice, but I've seen plenty of similar covers before. FTFD immediately came to mind when I saw it, but I know I've seen other similar covers too.
| |
song was pretty boring.
| |
Not surprised I enjoyed it, but if their past albums are anything to go by, I doubt I could listen to a whole album in one session. If this one is more varied, then they're looking at their best work to date.
...also, album artwork is great.
| |
Micah sounds crazy in this song...in a really good way.
| |
Yep. Generic metalcore.
| |
song sounds badass
| |
I agree, interesting guitar leads
| |
They're nothing super special but they are rather enjoyable. Really enjoyed this song. Artwork is WTF awesome.
| |
i really like
| |
their last album was enjoyable and definitely had some stand out tracks.
new song is pretty good
| |
Sounds promising, hope there's more like it.
| |
man its growing on me loads already, album is going to shred.
| |
missing something but do like
^
ziz.
and frankredhot - you shut up already, lmao.
| |
I love Vices Like Vipers but not much else, and the When I am God artwork
| |
their first record is good, everything else is meh...
| |
not as good as anything on Son of the Morning
| |
Saw them live with Hawkboy and Emery. They were pretty decent.
| |
I second Waior. They most definitely have the skill to go down a prog path. I wish so many bands would do that.
