^Agreed. Their EP was really good, though. Hope this is more in the vein of that than their full-length.

This is such a weird project...but a new release would be nice. I'm looking forward to it, but I totally agree. I want more Tool and APC.
| |
wtf why not tool?
| |
stop fucking around and work on the next tool album that is already overdue
| |
FFS I could give two shit's about Puscifer. Come on Maynard work with Tool already the wait is to fucking long.
| |
Terrible news. MJK needs to invest as much time and energy into the new Tool album as he can so it'll be mad decent.
| |
found it funny that Maynard's most played song on his iTunes is a Puscifer song.
| |
actually looking forward to this. the 'C is for...' EP was pretty good. the LP wasn't bad either, just inconsistent.
that said.. MAYNARD, Y U NO RELEES TOOL ALBEM?
| |
hes still touring with apc so idk how long on that tool album. seeing apc in august
| |
Maybe this one will be good?
| |
Well, this is kinda cool. "C" Is for (Please Insert blah blah blah...) was really good. But hey...
What about Tool?
| |
everybody, Tool needs about 5 years to release an album. it's long, but as they have always proved, the album will be worth every penny. Next album will be released in 2012.
considering maynard is fully pledged in 3 bands, that man is constantly busy making love to our ears, and making us ask more for it.
| |
If you guys watch Maynards documentary Blood into Wine (available on netflix) you can see that he's moving away from Tool seemingly. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't another Tool album, or otherwise a Tool album in a few years.
| |
He's in 3 bands, but how often does he release something? No tool or APC in 5 years, and puscifer is pretty shitty.
| |
Puscifer makes good remakes, and I enjoy one of their E.P's otherwise I could care less about the band.
| |
ugh worthless band
| |
apc has been on official hiatus tho so they have an excuse for not making anything. puscifer sucks tho.
| |
their last EP was brilliant
| |
i havent heard it. i have heard v is for vagina tho, and i gave it a relisten or two and it never grew on me
| |
listen to "the mission" or "momma sed", and be hooked instantly

well which the fuck is it?
puscifer have a few good songs, but pretty much what everyone else said
| |
well which the fuck is it?
they were on hiatus until the beginning of this year. then they started touring
| |
I'd love to see them, and while there's still time I'd have to get a group together to drive out to the nearest show.
| |

yah the mission is dope.
polar bear is a great song too.
| |
The entire E.P. is a blast, "Potions" is a fav for sure.
| |
Guaranteed to suck
| |
Puscifer is fun but I'd rather Maynard focus on Tool or APC ;) [2]
| |
Puscifer sucks nutsack but I'd rather Maynard focus on Tool or APC [a billion]
| |
Puscifer isn't the worst thing ever, but it's almost like a joke compared to Maynards other projects
| |
Everyone here should see puscifer in concert before you talk a bunch of trash about them. Their concerts are so much better because they're small vinues. I have never heard music so beautiful as I did at the puscifer show. Puscifer explores anything possible in music, whatever you want to bring to the table Maynard is down. See a live show and then come back on this site and say your sorry!
| |
Do they often explore brostep when playing shows in small vinues?
| |
Puscifer's live recordings are amazing, but it's Maynard and Co. we're talking about here; they're expected to be good live.
| |
puscifer is generally meh to me as well(although momma sed rocks my world), but it's just a creative outlet. ideas stuck in maynard's head that he can't use for APC or Tool. Can't expect him to be perfect.
still though, they're pretty good compared to music standards.
| |
tool > apc > puscifer.
| |
Would rather see Howerdel bring out something from Ashes Divide to be honest.
The best thing about Puscifer is that it's dispelled many people's uneducated assumptions regarding the degree of influence/input Maynard has had on Tool & APC's better material. Talented vocalist he is. Talented song writer he is not.
| |
i like puscifer
| |
guess I wasn't the only one who thought Maynard should be putting all of his effort into the next Tool album, this is slightly annoying...
