Rock Star Supernova Find Bassist 2006-11-01 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 2 Comments | Rock Star Supernova have solved their bass-playing dilemma by tapping ex-Black Crowes bassist Johnny Colt for their upcoming tour.
The band have been looking for a touring bassist ever since Jason Newsted injured both his shoulders trying to catch a bass head that had fallen from his amp last month.
Rock Star Supernova, which also features guitarist Gilby Clarke, singer Lukas Rossi and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, release their debut album on November 21 through Epic Records.
The first two singles from the album are available for streaming from the band's myspace, and a sample of each track is available via the Sony Music Store.
