SPENCER HAS FUCKING DREADLOCKS. Why didn't I found out about this sooner? Also, the static annoys the living fuck out of me. Song seems pretty awesome though.
| |
Sounds good, really good.
| |
Song rules face but my god Spencer just straight up tears through this.
| |
that was sick spencer is a godly frontman.
| |
Wow. Spencer's 2000 times better than he used to be.
| |
spencer's got balls for doing twice the work this time
| |
cool dreadlocks bro
o wait not really
| |
need to hear this
| |
sweet song, seems less unique than lost ion the sound of seperation for some reason though
| |
awesome song
| |
incredible song. go spencer.
| |
vocals are great
| |
hmmmmmm...
| |
Josh - Nope, it's simply streaming on there.
| |
Ooooh goody, can't wait to listen later
| |
Guitar seems more... "metalcore". That said, the drumming is great and Spencer fucking tears it up
| |
Spencer is seriously ridikalus.
bloc, prepare your ears and pants for an orgasJUN.
| |
they also have song samples up on amazon for all of disambiguation if anyone cares.

| |
@Winsomniac
Spencer used to have dreadlocks a long time ago.
| |
I know, but I haven't really been following UO for shit lately. I've been on such a bro-core/hardcore kick these days.
| |
Fuck. You. Josh. D.
| |
Damn that was good, I'll definitely check out the new album
| |
Spencer gets better with every album. He's freaking awesome
| |
I think the vocals have excelled along with the drumming, like it's not even fair. I could seriously listen to those 2 just play, w/o bass, guitar and dudley. Butttttttt, Then again..I duno. I feel like the guitar is so murky, and grimy. I am so stoked for this CD
| |
"This is just average like just about all of their music."
reported for idiocy
| |
Don't take Josh D seriously. He's about as harmless as a de-clawed kitten.
| |
Bøner.
| |
I don't get it. It sounds like every other song they've written on their last two albums..? Seriously. It's decent..I guess. Just nothing special.
| |
It's ok, I lurv Josh.
But I can't put my finger on what makes them special, but everything comes together so well for them.
| |
I guess I am just sentimental about the band.
| |
reminds me why I can enjoy metalcore at times. also spencer is sick in this.
| |
Great. Enjoyed more than Illuminator or whatever.
| |
this song freaking rules, slide guitar+awesome vocals+everything else Underoath is=win
| |
even better than the other song they released, this will probably be my favorite uo cd.
| |
Song rules, and the samples on amazon sound tasty. Spencer's clean vocals are so much more unique than Aaron's, and my god, his screaming has improved (which I didn't think was possible...)
| |
Oh and the dreads are sick. So glad they all stopped looking like girls lol
| |
song is too awesome. fucking stoked.
| |
Didn't expect it to be this good. Ah.
| |
spencer be killin it. sounds real good. looks like not having aaron isn't really problem. more excited for the album now
| |
aaron who?
| |
catching myself catching myself sounds AWESOME on amazong. more litsos sounding
| |
Is it me or did Spencer get really badass at screaming? his clean vox are great too. the eerie feel of the song is what they needed, it sounds so good. Pretty stoked for this album.
| |
Fuckingwow.
| |
Eh, it was decent. Kinda surprised how overwhelmingly positive you guys are.
| |
good song.
| |
It's Underoath, man. If sputnik has any tendency at all to start hype-trains, you should expect a
fucking transcontinental railroad from this.
| |
transcontinental dildo ;)
| |
..............eh
| |
wankfest²
| |
I mean I don't think it's completely warranted.
| |
Need to hear this later when I get the chance.
| |
That was surprisingly decent.
| |
I like, sounds more like something off DTGL.
| |
Song is okay. Looking forward to the record.
| |
I liked this much better than the first song they released.
| |
Wasn't into there most recent album at all. Loved DTGL, hope this gets me, will listen regardless.
| |
Dis was good.
| |
I feel like one of the only people who liked LITSOS better than DTGL.
| |
Its pretty fucking awesome
fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap
| |
"I feel like one of the only people who liked LITSOS better than DTGL."
You aren't alone, it was much more ambient, I think I liked it better not sure. DTGL was straightforward metalcore. But they're both amazing albums. this one should be pretty darn good too.
| |
DTGL was GREAT. LITSOS was pretty underwhelming to me, for UO anyway.
| |
love spencer's screams... real improvement. but yah, it still sounds like every other underoath song. i doubt this will be better than DTGL. still, it's good.
| |
UGGGHHH this song ruuuules
| |
Spencer's singing is perfect.
| |
awesome.
| |
song is fucking awesome, spencer has gotten even better. I seriously cant wait for this album.
| |
Already listen to it three times in the past 15 minutes.
idk why people don't like LITSOS
I thought it was a lot more experimental.
| |
solid.
| |
REALLY liked this, but UO sold me with Define the Great Line.
I understand the "why is this so special?" questions, but the song is so well done IMO
| |
Not loving the clean vocals as much but the rest of it is pretty fucking sick
| |
Pretty fucking boring. fix'd
| |
Awesome as expected
But I'm starting to get the feeling that without Aaron they are simply starting to sound like every other metalcore band, which sucks.
| |
The screams are pretty impressive. Kinda has a norma jean feel to it or vica versa, heh.
| |
Song isn't that great...I am disappointed. It sounded like it was building up for something, but never reached its destination.
| |
Completely agree with bloc.
| |
Completely don't agree with bloc
| |
The song was all right but I was waiting for it to kick up a notch and it really didn't.
| |
I was thinking the exact same JWT, the beginning was cool but it just goes on and on. They could have lengthened the song and added a "climax" or something easily.
| |
Or they could've added a singer with talent, js.
| |
lolwut Spencer rocks.
| |
Needs more djent...
| |
I love the vocals, but the music is too damn simple on this track.
| |
"Nick Wehrman: Super generic. get horizon's new album instead.
4 hours ago · Like Unlike · ."
well not all the fans seem to be able to form coherent opinions...
| |
I thought there was a climax in the bridge before the 3rd chorus that I found to be pretty good
| |
That was pretty damn solid.
| |
I just listened to all the song previews and now I'm a bit worried. It sounds like it's gonna be too slow. I like when
Underoath punches me in the face, not smoothly serenades me.
Now I'm highly doubting this will top DTGL. It'll still be great, though.
| |
Sounds good.
Anyone know who that is singing on 'In Completion' on the amazon thing?
Spencer is great in this song. I used to be a huge UO fan, I might pick this up.
| |
Underoath fans are basically the dumbest demographic this side of the Tea Party.
Song was pretty good.
| |
I thought it was Spencer singing In Completion... :/
| |
Meh.
Spencer just doesn't sound very good. His cleans sound weird and his screams are getting worse and worse on every album.
The guitar just sounded boring. I was surprised to hear the drumming wasn't all that bad.
| |
"Meh
Spencer just doesn't sound very much less than incredible. His cleans sound unique and his screams are getting better and better on every album.
The guitar just sounded crunchy as fuck. I wasn't surprised to hear the drumming was awesome. Wow, it's really hard to type with all this jizz on my keyboard."
fixer-upper
| |
I c wut u did thar, you made it sound like I actually liked the song and think that Underoath without Aaron is actually good.
*claps*
| |
that would be a more accurate statement, yes
| |
Doesn't change my opinion of the song: Meh
| |
I like it, but I'm not sure about it being the first song on the album, it's a little too chill for an opener imo. I think the other new song would have been perfect to kick it off. But whatever, Spencer is killing it and album will be sick.
| |
tapit i lol'd, other dude /owned
also, i like this slower underoath. it's interesting. and the guitars, well they seem dark and brooding. i bet they will still
have a few awesome fast ones like litsos, which is perfect imo.
| |
they play along perfectly with the vocals, idk. matches the emotion that i can feel through the song
| |
song is great, they have definitely progressed since LITSOS.
| |
everything is better without aaron's voice
| |
I really have never liked Underoath at all. That being said...after listening to this track and the samples on Amazon...I am actually very excited for this.
| |
udderoath
| |
The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
and, I do believe it is Spencer singing on In Completion. He has had vocal training with Melissa Cross because he used to always wear his voice out. I think she coached his singing as well as his screaming.
| |
this song is awesome, i'm stoked on the new underoath.
| |
siiiiick
| |
fuck they don't even sound like the same band anymore
which is good because TOCS sucked balls
| |
terrible band
| |
Good song. It could've been a lot better though, I agree with bloc.
| |
New Alexisonfire is better
| |
I'm sure this will have a slower feel to intermingle these songs with heavier ones live. Because I'm pretty sure (or at least it wouldn't surprise me) if they never play songs like "too bright to see..." live again. But don't think this won't have fast heavy ones. It will.
| |
mmmm yes drop B tuning on an Underoath song
| |
"Vacant Mouth" and "My Deteriorating Incline" on amazon both sound heavy. And that drum part on Vacant Mouth sounds exactly like something Aaron would play.
| |
This song is heavy as hecks! Can't wait for this album to drop.
| |
lol @ thors avatar.
| |
Woah, nice.
| |
Not bad but still nothing impressive.
| |
I think theyve always been awesome, but but my favorite underoaths been when Aarons around, hes not that great of a drummer and pretty shitty singer live but it feels incomplete without him...Still Spencer teared shit upp..And I still think this is gonna rape babies!
| |
"that drum part on Vacant Mouth sounds exactly like something Aaron would play."
my thoughts EXACTLY. It's not necessarily a bad thing either because Aaron's style of drumming helped make Underoath what they are.
| |
It's nice.
| |
