Iced Earth Guitarist Arrested 2006-09-20 by Stormy Smiley Face | 7 Comments | Power Metal band Iced Earth recently added Ernie Carletti as their second guitarist and police in Newark, Delaware have recently added him to a prison cell.
Police say on May 22nd, 2003, 31-year-old Ernie Carletti allegedly kidnapped a 19-year-old woman at gunpoint in east Newark, drove her to a remote location, and then he sexually assaulted her.
Lieutenant Thomas LeMin says the arrest on Carletti was made yesterday in Elkton. He is charged with six counts of first-degree rape, one count of first-degree kidnapping, and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
Carletti waived extradition in Cecil County district court and is being held at the Howard Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington on $355,000 bail.
