There was a slight change, but that much. The riffs and drums seemed a little faster. I am not saying it was a drastic change, but a tiny little one.

Well, I thought the song writing was generally better on GotE, but yeah, you're probably right. A bit of progression would be good, but I'm definitely not expecting this to be reinvent the wheel. The sci-fi theme has potential though.
