this is not your playground it's my HEAAAAAAAART
|
| |
such an amazing song!
|
| |
hmmm vid is okay...
kinda lame in places... but whatever... end is neat with the keywork...
|
| |
Pretty good song.
|
| |
Great vid!
I don't think Year of the Black Rainbow was as bad of an album name as everyone says it was, though it would have been better self-titled since this album is about the beginning of Coheed and Cambria.
|
| |
^^Isn't everyone saying YOTBR is an awesome album? Will check vid out when I'm out of class.
|
| |
Yeah, but the album title has been heavily criticized.
|
| |
haha same here Bfhurricane.....everything is blocked
|
| |
"We're sorry, VEVO is not currently available in your country."
Balls.
|
| |
the music video is definitely a missed opportunity for a song that is as epic sounding as this.
|
| |
Worst band ever.
|
| |
"We're sorry, VEVO is not currently available in your country."
ass
|
| |
I know, pretty shit.
|
| |
worst band ever? you must have meant to post that on the limb bizkit headline. I kinda like the vid. its sweet that they did something concept oriented that wasn't totally sci fied.
|
| |
I notice that videos tend to get hated on around here... I could be wrong, but I've not seen a video in memory posted here that didn't get a lot of "meh, video's alright" or "vid sucks" comments.... XD
I personally loved it. I think this is their best video. Also, that is SUCH a fantastic song.
|
| |
Agreed that it's their best vid
|
| |
Very well done. I can tell their budget was considerably higher for this paticular video.
|
| |
Pretty cool vid imo. They could have shown mic todd more though.
|
| |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CWXga1V4sA
its up on youtube.
awsome song, awsome album!
|
| |
Next video should be World of Lines
|
| |
It was pretty good video and well done. they ending was kind of cheesy, but you can tell they put some effort into the video. And when you look up at THAT sky, you don't have to be high to realize that it is a miracle...
|
| |
^^ LOL'D
|
| |
that was great
|
| |
that was fucking cool
god i love the song sooo much
|
| |
"Worst band ever."
dude's like a broken record.
|
| |
not a bad video. better then their good apollo vol:1 era vids. god, those were bad.
|
| |
Awesome video. I would love to see Coheed do some kind of full length movie where they play each of there albums over it, or something along those lines.
|
| |
oh my! claudio cut his hair! good video; awesome song.
|
| |
I would like to see them write books for the other albums now.
|
| |
The ending was cheesy as shit, but it's still a damn great video. Love the 33 on the Jersey in the classroom scene.
|
| |
Can't.... stop.... watching....
|
| |
*fist pump*
|
| |
We were stupid we got CAAAAAAUUUUUGGGHHHT!!!
|
| |
personally, i feel like they peaked at Burning Star IV, but still solid work from them
btw, it's not gay if you're a dude and have the keywork tattooed on your lower back, amirite? lol
|
| |
lower back is a questionable place tbh
|
| |
The dude reading in the video was reading the Amory Wars comic, pretty cool. Has anyone checked those
out if so are they any good?
|
| |
I own all the Amory Wars comics. They really help tell the story, and they are well done. The one for Good Apollo I is my favorite one, though.
Great video.
|
| |
Hahaha this is REALLY cheesy, but it's still pretty good. Great visual quality.
|
| |
What's so cheesy about it?
|
| |
The CG universe panning shot is pretty ridiculous, tbqfh.
|
| |
tbh dont see the cheeseyness in it at all. I thought it was a very well done video and probably the
best they've done. Better than their GA1/2 videos at least.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CWXga1V4sA
link to youtube HD quality. enjoy.
|
| |
I really liked the video, was a pretty basic rock vid with the band playing and some subtle story thing goin on. Hope it gets a lot of airplay.
|
| |
obviously we are deciding what kind of band they are because of this one song.
|
| |
I really enjoyed the video.
@Josh D.: They used to have a more proggy sound in their first three albums. But it could be argued that they progressively change their sound from one album to the next album.
|
| |
@Josh D.
I don't understand where I made an assumption about you. I never said anything about you actually, thus, I never assumed anything. I merely made a sarcastic remark about WHAT you said.
There are lots of reasons why they are progressive, including their music and the story/concept in which the albums lyrics are based on. Also, you can see how each of the albums progresses as a whole, from start to finish and how it progresses the story. They themselves have even said they have both their 3-5 minute rock songs(i.e this song) and the longer tracks which are more progressive (ie. the Willing Well tracks from GA 1).
|
| |
I would probably say either The Willing Well I or II: both display a fair amount of progressive content.
|
| |
Anybody know who is supporting them in the UK june? cant find any info
|
| |
Not really digging this video. Oh well. It's decent I guess. Just something about me being a complete astronomy nerd and having a problem with those planets being entirely too close together. And the cheesy hand-holding at the end.
|
| |
It's part of the story, they're being held together and stabilized by something I believe is called a galactic fence. Or was it the Key Work....
Also, it doesn't matter if you could stand it or not, it's a prog rock song. Put it in your pipe and smoke it. Then get high and write a ten minute blues solo. They're not the proggiest band in the world, but they do concept albums, they experiment, they create intricate music, and they do long songs. Thaaaat is enough.
|
| |
CutMan, thanks, I actually appreciate the clarification... helps me get over that minor annoyance in the vid.
|
| |
I really like this video, especially since they actually show the characters Coheed and Cambria throughout the video. The concept was cool
