New Converge Album In October 2006-09-02 by cbmartinez | 7 Comments | Metalcore giants Converge will release their long awaited follow up to 2004's You Fail Me on October 24th. The album is titled No Heroes and the CD will be released on Epitaph Records while the LP will be released on Deathwish Records. Although they are about to embark on a nationwide tour with Mastodon and The Bronx, rumors have it that Converge will embark on another nationwide tour after the album release supported by Gospel, Some Girls, Kylesa, Modern Life Is War and Blacklisted. Although an mp3 has yet to be released, the tracklisting is as follows:

Has anyone seen the Youtube video of the fight that went down at one of their shows? It is fairly entertaining. Regarding the band, they were dreadful at SOTU yet everyone raves about their albums, I still need to listen their recordings.

The screaming is used more as an instrument to add emotion and depth to the songs. Jake Bannon always writes amazing lyrics though, even if no one can actually hear them

Converge are one of the greatest bands ever in their respective genre - Jacob Bannon is a legendary vocalist who has a demonic vocal style and writes truly astounding lyrics.
This album is shaping up to be brilliant.
