Killswitch Engage prepare to release their fourth full length album, "As Daylight Dies".

Bassist Mike D'Antonio say's that it is "Fucking metal in full force,"It's definitely way heavier. There are still the melodic choruses here and there, and there's a lot to latch onto. But it's heavy."

"As Daylight Dies" is scheduled for release on November 21st, and will be again released with Roadrunner Records.

I'm actually intrigued.

But I can't believe they'd rip off the name of a sweet melodic death/doom metal band like that.

Daylight Dies is such a good band, but this album will be good, too! At least I hope so. I have high hopes for this band, even though I didn't really like their past ones. They have lots of potential.

i agree to,they have "lots of potential".

i can't really stand current metal anymore. i can only listen to shadows fall, lamb of god and killswitch engage.

i'm really looking forward to the new album, although the single i heard was "so-so".

so-so is an understatement. I gave it to a friend, and within 30 seconds he said, "Sounds just like all their other riffs.. yawn..". Mike D saying its heavier is a good sign, but This Fire Burns didnt prove that whatsoever.

speaking of heavier...why do all metal bands keep saying "this album is heavy" like that keeps it from sonding like crap most of the time. i'd rather a band get softer and grow than to be heavier and retarded,as most metal is becoming.

don't want it too soft though, like staind.

How heavy can it be with melodic chrouses and Howards briliant man-voice?
