"On an Island" is the Pink Floyd frontman David Gilmour's new album, to be released on March 6th 2006. Guest players on the album include Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, Floyd concert musician Guy Pratt and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Concerts for both Europe and North America have been announced. This is Gilmour's first solo album in 22 years.
