1, 2, 4 and 5 are good. I hate Hilltop Hoods and La Roux needs to go back to living off her mum's money she made on The Bill.

Better songs in the middle section of the countdown tbh.

Nah, they didn't even mention it soooo no one really cared. Yeah Karnivool got All I Know and Set Fire To The Hive in at like 63 and 52 or something.

What really sucks is that Bon Iver - Blood Bank didnt even make the top 50 argh.

Parlez Vous Francais! Parlez Vous Francais! Parlez Vous Francais!

Heh, list is about right for what most of the Triple J crowd have been listening to.

Was down at The Rocks in Sydney for 'strayla day Yesterday, saw Ash Grunwald and Bertie Blackman, which was fun - Blackman is fucking tiny.

An as expected Triple J list as usual. Did think Karnivool would get top 10 though.

1 deserves its place, 2 is great but I prefer Friend In The Field and I'm really liking La Roux. Don't dig the rest that much. Still, 100 countdown was largely enjoyable.

Bulletproof is so overplayed these days. Still a good song though. Mumford & Sons wasn't much of a surprise though. How did it get leaked that it would be #1, anyway?

I honestly had never heard La Roux before the countdown xD She sounds cute as though.

That would be an idiotic thing to do, there's no way Bernard Fanning could pull off a decent cover.

List is meh

This was one of the worst Hottest 100's I can recall. Far too much disposable indie rubbish.... can't say I'm too surprised considering the way triple j is going these days

"That would be an idiotic thing to do, there's no way Bernard Fanning could pull off a decent cover."

Yeah I can't really remember, but it sure was funny. Too bad they are such an average band live.

It wasn't really a cover, just a couple of lines from the chorus. Nothing too major.

I'm just shitty DLC didn't get in, they should have been in the 80's somewhere.

VOOLIGAN!

did you see Karnivool at BDO in melbourne? I was super pumped for them then when they walked on I was just extremely dissapointed. The Vocals and Guitar were extremely low in the mix and the band just had no energy.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed...

I did, was front row directly in front of Kenny.
No energy? You're kidding right? They were amazing.

Didn't need to hear Kenny's vocals anyways, the crowd drowned him out regularly. And the guitars were, fine. Heard both Hoss' and Drew's fine.

Ah maybe it was where I was. The crowd I was with was lame and the Bass and Drums over powering everything.

Who cares, they're still an incredible band.

Man, I'm pissed DLC didn't get in. They deserved to be higher than 80's as well.

Can't believe 'Dog Days Are Over' got the highest position for Florence. She has at least 3 songs better than that!

Surprised Art vs Science got that high, and more surprised at those 2 Karnivvol placings. Apart from that, as expected.

To the person that asked about the leak, late last week, either the jjj or abc website had an ad for the upcoming jmag & it gave it away on the cover apparently. Wasn't left up for long, but it doesn't need to be for someone to see it.

Powderfinger just sang the chorus twice for 'Little Lion Man'. Pretty cool.

As for that Karnivool mixing Croc, you're sort of correct. It was terrible on the 1st song, but got better from there.
