I've seen them in a smaller venue about 3 times and every time was insane. I don't understand how anybody that likes their music couldn't enjoy them live either.

I've always liked this band quite a bit, and they don't suck live, but I've seen them twice live, and it was basically the same show both times.

Its still going to have a beefy sound, don't worry about it sounding like a tin-can Metallica record.

I am sure Matt Pike wouldn't let such a thing fly. When it comes to guitars, he will make sure it is heavy as all balls.

Pike also does alot of knob twisting in the studio which should also put any worries to rest. I love the sped-up direction that Pike has been going in with his past couple of albums as well.

I never said you did durrr. I just decided to pick on a boring, mediocre band that you obviously like since you picked on a band that is clearly superior in composition and overall have a lot more original ideas that High on Boring Riffs.
