2 things - They should do this in the states too, and they should have replaced Anthrax with Testament.

Agree with ya 2nd point there Willie, as for the first... well they'll never do come to NZ so i'd settle for states.

Sub Slayer with Exodus and sub Megadeth with Testament and I would make the trip to see this.

And according to the flyer, Mastadon and Behemoth are supporting? Show is going to be fucking sweet.

You can't replace any bands here with anyone else; then it wouldn't be the Big 4 -- it would just be a bunch of awesome thrash bands. This show is special specifically BECAUSE it is these 4 bands playing together. Now, I think Testament and Exodus should open... but Mastodon and Behemoth is still pretty sweet.

I wish this would come to the States, but damn, it'd probably be about $250 a ticket.

My buddy's the tour manager for Testament's tour with Slayer and Megadeth, said that their set is ridiculously short which is a crying shame.

Kreator is. They came to Peru along with Tristania a couple of months ago.

And I can't help to think that Mustaine will, at some point during the show, start boasting about how he's the second coming of Christ and how badly Metallica sucks.

Anybody who thinks Metallica will put on a sub par performance is wrong. If they're playing with the likes of the big 4, I can guarentee they will play the fastest and heaviest shit they have, aka their best stuff. Likewise for Mustaine. I seriously doubt a note off of Risk, Load, ReLoad, St. Anger, etc will be played. This will be a thrash dick measuring contest of epic proportions.

I saw Metallica in October and Megadeth last week. Metallica didn't touch anything released between the Black Album and Death Magnetic. Shit, they even played the song "Ride the Lightning." Megadeth focused on their new album of course, and Countdown/Rust in Peace. Both bands are in full return to heavy form. If anyone gets blown off the stage, it will be Anthrax. I like John Bush, but for their pure thrash songs, Belladonna is far superior.
