I'll check this out, I didn't care for his solo album as a whole but some of it was okay.

Serj's solo album wasn't great, but it did have some good stuff on it. Scars on Broadway had one or two decent songs and the rest was pretty dull.
I'll give this a look when it comes out.

Somehow System only works if System is alltogether. In other words, I found Serj and Scars to be terrible. Don't expect this to change my mind either.

haha i would have to agree with the "once you turn 15 you outgrow them" comment. But i was 17 when they came out, so when I outgrew them at 19 it's still fair game, right?

wow. the teaser sounded pretty good actually.
i know the "in" thing is to hate SOAD... "omg their old stuff is so much better rah rah rah imho omg"... but the fact is he has a unique and often great vocal talent and despite a poor solo record, there's plenty of talent to be extracted from Serj. not to mention the rest of the band. get a new SOAD record out please

Serj is awesome, I don't care what he does.
If SOAD ever got back together and put out an album, I'd be right ontop of that in a heartbeat.
Cut this solo crap, tell Daron to quit kidding himself with Scars, and tell Shavo to stop the Achozen - well Shavo isn't that crucial anyway...

I loved SOAD and I like his voice. The solo stuff IS really crap and there is no argument about that.
The PROBLEM is that this guy is going POP!!!!!!! By this i dont mean that he popped a testicle but the he "converted" from that image of aggressive protester and "vox populi" to the pop industry. Take "sky is over" for example... he looks like Alicia Keys for f sake!
I will look into this but i have some preconceptions...
