Last week I've stumbled upon a French rapper Barack Adama (ridiculously autotuned bullshit, unfortunately). Today I've learned that someone just up and named a death metal band "Nicolas Cage Fighter." May wonders never cease...

Sweet, I'm hyped about that Oceans of Slumber album, didnt even know they had a new one. Imperial Triumphant is amazing, had the promo for a couple fo weeks and you mfs don't wanna miss on it.

I'll be checking Wake, Nina Nastasia, and I guess some of the metal.

lboldham
07.21.22

'Imperial Triumphant is amazing, had the promo for a couple fo weeks and you mfs don't wanna miss on it.'

My hype is off the fookin charts already, like seriously I am concerned it can never live up to my expectations. Avoided the singles, just basing it off how incredible the last 2 albums were.

Slex
07.21.22
Hyped as hell for Wake n Imperial

Demon of the Fall
07.21.22
hang on Wake deathgrind and doom? Sounds somewhat contradictory. Intriguing...

Slex

I've been listening to the Domestic Terminal promo for over a week, so if I switch gears it will be for either Jack White or Anthony Green.

Slex

MarsKid
07.21.22
Finally, I've been waiting for Oceans of Slumber to drop a new one. Massive, mountainous riffs are upon us. . . . .

Dewinged
07.21.22

Dmax28
07.21.22
I had a feeling ahah. That band rules so hard. I've actually had them come up on my mind for the last few months but couldn't remember the name. So I'm glad this sparked my recollection.

tyman128
07.21.22
you guys better be checking Domestic Terminal this week

CriticalMyth
07.21.22
New album by Fight the Fade is also out this week

Willie
07.21.22
New Oceans of Slumber is really good, but no massive, mountainous riffs that I've heard so far... but still good. Just went into it with expectations of something they don't really do.

Divaman
07.21.22
Taking the week off. Probably.

mkmusic1995
07.21.22
If I'm not mistaken, Spite pushed back the release of Dedication to Flesh until Aug. 19th. Not too much I'm looking forward to this week but might find a few gems! Thanks the list as always!

Get Low
07.21.22
I had a faint glimmer of hope when I saw Elysia that the classic deathcore band had made a comeback, but apparently it's just a new black metal band that stole their name.

Otherwise, Perfume hype.

jmh886

Dewinged
07.22.22
Cheers Sam, I would like to include all these albums you guys are bringing up but we are at 42 albums on the list which is ridiculous so can't/don't wanna fit more there, but pls keep bringing them up here.

That been said, I'm gonna check that Alex the Astronaut album.

SlothcoreSam
07.22.22
You're doing a great job Dewi, no need to include them, this is like a message board where we can add our own discoveries.
I feel like a lot of people would like Alex, she is massive in Australia for the indie kids.

Get Low
07.22.22
Apparently Flo Milli dropped a new album this week as well

Willie

--New Alex the Astronaut is some really nice indie pop for those that like a beautiful Australian female voice--
Anything like Amy Shark? Is the album "How to grow a Sunflower Underwater" but it shows a 10 June 2022 release date not today.

SlothcoreSam
07.22.22
Yeah a little bit like Amy Shark, but more varied and a bit folkier at times. Her second studio album How to Grow a Sunflower Underwater is scheduled for release on 22 July 2022.

YoYoMancuso
07.22.22
