Hello and happy new year!

Welcome to the weekly new releases extravaganza, 2022 edition!

Thanks to the Gnoch and the Sow, we have managed to curate a decent list of new releases for this usually dry period of the first days of January.

This post comprises releases from January 1st to January 13th. There will be a new post for January 14th releases and from there we will go weekly as usual.

Feel free to shoutbox me or Gnocchi about releases we might have missed and that should be included (in advance is much appreciated).

Here you have some extra fuel in case the above is not enough.

Have a smooth coming back to work/uni/school/nursery home!

Aaru: The Human Condition (Instrumental)
Atrocity: Unspoken Names [EP/DEMO 1991]
Befell: Grave of the Condemned King [EP]
Born From Adversity: Amazing Disgrace
Darkened: Mourn The Dying Light [EP]
Drill Star Autopsy: Futuremembrance
Jawbone: Fracture [EP]
Lord: Blood Red Skies [EP]
Nachtmuse: Solemn Songs of Nightsky & Sea
Necrophagous: In Chaos Ascend
Needless: The Cosmic Cauldron
Nihility: Beyond Human Concepts
Power Paladin - With The Magic Of Windfyre Steel
RGRSS: A World of Concern
Renascence: Times...

Yard Act has 2 EPs last year, or maybe 1 and 4 singles that are going to be on this. But they are top class post punk!

Also, what's with all the terrible album art. I don't know what's worse the Lordi album or The Weekend?

Dewinged
01.05.22
There's good art too, Oar, Deaf Club and Apes' are pretty decent

But yeah Lordi's terrible, fits how bad the singles are though.

Someone decipher this for me. I did not expect to see ANYTHING yet but there are actually a few 'big' artists here.

another DDS... okay, guess that one might be check no.1 for 2022 then.

Dope Lemon for the win

Demon of the Fall
01.06.22
After doing some digging I'm liking the idea of Soichi Terada, so will check. The Weeknd is a apparently a big deal, so curiosity dictates a possible check.

Need to do some more digging on the stuff for next week.

I might give Wilderun another chance and maybe a wildcard or two I have seen doing the rounds.

Demon of the Fall

OAR sounds interesting as well.

01.06.22
From the singles I will be digging Wilderun and Infected Rain.

Yard Act isn't out until January 21.

Dewinged
01.07.22
Yeah just confirmed here too. Dates have been very finicky these days so there might be more readjustments down the week.

I deleted it for now and will include it on the proper week. (For those really hyped about it, half of the album is out already though).
