Some based facts:

- Young Thug's new album "Punk" is also out this next friday, but couldn't find any official artwork, so this is what you get. A sad heads up.
- There's a ton of atmo black this week yes, but tis' the season, so let's go with it.
- Dug Pinnick is the bass and frontman of legendary Kings X, in case you didn't know.
- Gucci Mane also has smth out called "So Icy Boyz" but I couldn't find much about it, any info would be appreciated.

And that'd be all from me and Sput's favorite metal chef, mr. Pops Gnochhi, have a killer week m/

Dewinged

Divaman
10.11.21
Coldplay, the new Santana album, and the new Johnny Marr EP.

Divaman
10.11.21
If you want, Dewi, I'll give you a heads up in your shout box about anything I might be aware of (and looking out for) each week. Some weeks there aren't any, and I usually have a max of 2 or 3.

Dewinged
10.11.21
Always helpful, so sure, let me know!

Purpl3Spartan
10.11.21
Coldplay
Genre: Prog

Um

hesperus
10.11.21
some tasty album art from the atmo black scene this week

quetzal
10.12.21
she said destroy is not atmospheric black metal btw, i'd say it's more a mix of black, death, post hardcore, and math rock

Dewinged
10.12.21
Fixed that for you

quetzal
10.12.21
lol thanks

never listened to the band but the album art you posted was intriguing so i listened to the promo singles, reminds me a lot of Burst actually.

Purpl3Spartan
10.12.21
Some cool stuff this week

Dewinged
10.12.21
@quetzal. never heard of them either, that entry came straight from the chef. I probably got the genre tag from lastfm or their bandcamp. Seems interesting indeed.

quetzal
10.12.21
bandcamp has some wild genre tags. one of the she said destroy songs (went to see what it said) has these tags:

"black metal death metal metal technical metal climate change d-beat hardcore postrock Norway"

climate change is my least favorite musical genre

Dewinged
10.12.21
Climate change does suggest some atmoblack lol

Gnocchi
10.12.21
New Botanist kinda works in that niche

quetzal
10.12.21
i missed one of the promo singles and it is actually kind of atmospheric black metal, so that wasn't entirely inaccurate. listened to their 2008 album and it's prog / tech death like extol but with early mikael style vocals. good stuff tho

Flugmorph
10.12.21
twelve foot ninja letsgooooooo

Nikkolae
10.13.21
Holy shit Cœur De Pirate is still around, I used to listen to her so much wayyyy back in the day

Dmax28
10.13.21
Oh snap Deviant Process is this week too and it's already streaming

rabidfish
10.13.21
new Bedouine drops this 15, too

Project
10.13.21
She Said Destroy's new genre tags do intrigue me I must admit

also someone woke up and chose violence and channeled that impulse into labeling Coldplay 'prog' on sputnikmusic dot com

Project
10.13.21
that Reaping Asmodeia art is so cheesy I want it on the cover of a D&D adventure, I love it

RedRightHand
10.13.21
New Starflyer 59 this week as well!

WatchItExplode
10.15.21
Wow, check that She Said Destroy for evil midtempo heaviness

WatchItExplode
10.15.21
Quetzal is right on...good shit. They mix it up nice. First album in 13 years.
