Not expecting a great week, but will check Tame Impala (which I think might disappoint), The Wonder Years' EP, and Psychotic Waltz - which I've heard nothing but praise for. My wildcard is that album by Bambara, haven't heard a single thing from it but the artwork has me hooked.

New Ihsahn EP! The single was better than all of Amr, so can't wait. Also the Kvelertak singles are sounding rat, gonna be a lot of pure fun!

Lordy. Huey Lewis and the News for best of the bunch?

I jest but I haven't enjoyed the pre release Tame Impala tracks so not feeling very inspired by this weeks catch.

I agree about the pre-release Tame Impala tracks - left me very nervous about the album and I'm far less excited now than I was when I first heard they were dropping new material.

I'll definitely check Ihsahn's Telemark.

Divaman
02.10.20
I haven't listened to Tame Impala before, so this is their one shot with me.

Beach Bunny looks interesting. I'll check Tame Impala right after I finally get around to listening to Currents. Do I dare check Mr. Yummy's record? I kinda feel ill at the thought.

I'm definitely checking the Seven Spires album since they are opening for that sweet Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium tour.

i've been waiting for Bambara since October when "Serafina" dropped so...consider me psyched. Tame Impala, Cindy Lee, and Kvelertak should be cool too.

I swear if this new Pendragon album is about how great Brexit is in Nick's annoying smug drawl it will ruin the band

Trifolium
02.11.20
Don't forget Agnes Obel! Myopia is going to be released on Friday as well and it's going to R U L E ! ! !

Trifolium
02.11.20
I was lying of course, Agnes happens next week eeeeek.

Dewinged

Loaded week, the year takes off. Frayle, Ihsahn, Kvelertak, Psychotic Waltz, and will peep Tame Impala and Post Animal maybe.

Willie

- Blaze Of Perdition is a really good melodic black metal album.
- Frayle is a decent doom/stoner rock album. Maybe a little two-dimensional for long-term listening.
- Mitochondial Sun & Psychotic Waltz... See the reviews ;)

Still want to hear Archon Angel, Ihsahn, Kvelertak, and Tame Impala.

"Blaze Of Perdition is a really good melodic black metal album."
I'm thinking about getting my hands on the album. Are you planning to review it?

Willie
02.12.20
I'm not planning on it, only because I've already done two for this week. Maybe a late year slow week unless you want to do it now.

TheNotrap
02.12.20
I've been listening to the last two albums, and they're both great, and since I liked the new singles, it seems logical to review it, if no one from the staff/contributors is thinking about it.

Willie
02.12.20
As far as I know. no one plans on it.

TheNotrap
02.12.20
In that case, I'm all over it.

theNateman
02.14.20
That new huey Lewis and the news album is pretty good. I might review it.

betlwedl

y'all shouldn't sleep on katie gately, wonderful holly herndon esque experimental electronic album

SowingSeason

"wonderful holly herndon esque"
That's logic defying

TheNotrap

By now I was expecting Telemark to have been reviewed. I might get my hands on it.
