Big week. In addition to Frank Turner, Oh Sees, and Sleater-Kinney, I'll be blindly exploring a ton of these smaller releases that all appear intriguing.

Dmax28

Twilight Force is releasing their album as well. That's what I'm most anticipating this week.

AngryJohnny
08.12.19
pretty massive week

Minushuman24
08.12.19
jesus, what a packed week for music
Frank, Sleater Kinney, Off With Their Heads, The Hold Stead, and plenty I that look intriguing

Half of Frank's album is already out because of the podcast. It's sounding great so far.

I lost interest in Turner when Positive Songs for Negative People came out. In my opinion everything he's done since England Keep My Bones has been a slight regression (Tape Deck Heart is still very good, don't get me wrong). His last album was a hallmarky mess of ill-advised cliches and shoehorned optimism. I'm hoping he rights the ship again, will check the podcast when I can for sure.

Great week 👍

Shame I’m on holiday for two weeks starting Thursday and prob won’t get most of these until I get back home

I’ll definitely check then or so of these eventually

Positive Songs is a good album with some flaws, but yeah, Be More Kind has a few clunkers.

Yeah it wasn't all terrible I think I gave it a 3, but it just felt insincere for whatever reason. The one thing he's always had going for him is his earnestness and it felt like Frank Turner imitating the good old days rather than leading a charge. Could be diminished returns on my part, so either way I'll definitely be giving the new one a chance.

Blanck Mass, Oh Sees, and King Gizzard looking to fuck up the last two months huh. some other cool stuff here too.

Sinternet
08.12.19
guess i'm checking new illenium even if he's cliche af

blanck mass should rule if singles are to go by

luci
08.12.19
quite a few i'm looking to check: blanck mass, shura, maria usbeck, loscil and sleater-kinney

BlushfulHippocrene
08.13.19
Was intrigued by that Murder Capital artwork and the singles are damn good.

Demon of the Fall
08.13.19
Damn, intriguing week. I can't even decide what to go for yet, but I'll probably a check a few of these. A bunch of interesting stuff, without a clear winner. Tough.

peekatoad
08.13.19
Will check Shadow of Intent for sure

ProjectFreak
08.13.19
Will cautiously check Frank Turner (but I was real sour on his last album), will excitedly check Blanck Mass and Friendly Fires, will maybe check Killswitch, Sleater-Kinney, etc... this week is just stacked

Press Club, Frank, Blanck Mass, Young Thug, Oso Oso, Oh Sees, Shura, Sleater-Kinney, The Hold Steady
God this week is WILD

keza
08.14.19
Pretty excited for Press Club, King Gizz (whose label is actually Flightless), and Oso Oso. Want to think the new KSE will be good but they haven't put out a good record in about 15 years now so...

Dewinged
08.14.19
Lots of stuff, damn. Blanck Mass, Oh Sees, Press Club, Sleater K, The Body... phew, not the best week to play catch up.

Get Low
08.14.19
shit week

Demon of the Fall
08.14.19
I'd be surprised if anyone found absolutely nothing worthy of checking here, you'd get something out of this week, maybe you just don't know what?... unless you have really basic/absurdly contrarian taste.

Get Low
08.14.19
There is literally nothing interesting here at all to me.

Demon of the Fall
08.14.19
On what basis... the genre tags/album artwork etc? Presumably you haven't heard a little from every one of these artists.

Get Low
08.14.19
The basis of mainly the genre tags and having not heard of almost all of these artists.

Atari
08.14.19
can't wait for the new Off With Their Heads

they just dropped the 3rd single

Flugmorph
08.16.19
big week

Demon of the Fall
08.16.19
'Shadows of Intent' has a ludicrous average so far (only about 30 votes, but still...), colour me intrigued

Get Low
08.16.19
I'm going to get baited into listening to that Shadow of Intent album and it's going to be meh, I know it.

Divaman
08.16.19
Might check out peaer. Might not. Might just be another catch-up week.

Dmax28
08.17.19
That Moron Police is a masterpiece. So glad I checked it. Normally I don't give things labeled as rock a chance but the great album cover drew me in and the music matches it perfectly. Very out there but instantly endearing record.
