One of the last big release dates of the year. We're about to drop down to just a handful of releases a week.

From the officially released material on the net, the Sunndrug album should be interesting.

Looking forward to Lambchop and Jim James. Ryan Adams also supposedly has an album out this Friday, but he still hasn't released any details.

My question might be irrelevant but how come you don't link the album covers with the URL of each album on Sputnik?

Lambchop is tons of fun!

---My question might be irrelevant but how come you don't link the album covers with the URL of each album on Sputnik?---

Not irrelevant, it would be a cool addition.

The answer is this: These are new releases and a significant amount of them don't have album pages on Sputnik when the news is made. So, in addition to having to research release dates, labels, and genres, as well as find/resize all the artwork, link to any staff/contrib reviews, find album streams, and find the additional assets for the featured albums, we'd also have to create the album pages for sputnik and all the information they require (also, some of them don't even have band pages...), and then link every one of them back to the news article.
