Much better week for releases. I want to recommend C.B. Murdoc - Here Be Dragons. It's like Atheist meets Meshuggah with a bit of Watchtower tech thrown in for good measure. I've been listening to this album non-stop.

Whitechapel has cleans now which is interesting, and new Kayo Dot is amazing. Might have to write a review, but it's taking a lot of listens to really sink in, like all their releases do.

The new Kayo Dot really isn't a progressive metal album

Wow, Hot Hot Heat are still around? I haven't thought about them in like 10 years.

--The new Kayo Dot really isn't a progressive metal album--

Then what is it? As long as it's not some obscure ultra-specific genre, I'll change it.

Avant-garde or electronic would probably suffice, it's not really metal.

Updated. Of course, everyone should already know that pretty much all of these albums are also available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, too.

Also, we're streaming a song from the C.B. Murdoc release. Kind of a blend of At the Gates, Atheist, and Meshuggah.
