...Now with loose genre definitions. Not a big week in my opinion, but I'm pumped for the new Dark Suns record

The new Kills is gonna kick all the ass

"Lonely Lover" was a really nice single, so I'm hyped for that Xenia Rubinos. Didn't know there was an early stream of it, so thanks!

I'm looking forward to the Steve Gunn, also the new William Tyler coming on Friday.
June is shaping up to be a good month, after only a few releases in May that I bothered with I have at least two new albums I'm interested in coming every week.

Yeah The Kills are another noteworthy release Paul Simon too if you don't mind that he's like 110 years old

If These Trees Could Talk! Love these guys, I'm getting that album for sure. I'll also be checking out the new Volbeat and Beartooth. And luckily we have Hellyeah, to show us how a proper experimental album is done. :-)

Out of those I'm probably most interested in If These Trees Could Talk...might check out Beartooth too

Poverty's No Crime is pretty good. Kind of a Dream Theater/Fates Warning hybrid. They seem to take the best parts of both bands, and the vocalist sounds a lot like the Fates Warning singer. Virus is pretty good too. It's like a dark, progressive post punk album. It almost reminds me of what New Model Army might have sounded like if they had gone prog.

No one picking up on the new gates album that drops tomorrow - I remember their first album being one of the highlights of 2014 personally and getting decent critical reviews here.

Definitely think the Minor Victories album needs a decent review, sounding so great on the first few listens.

genre addition is a great idea - I've found (particularly on reviews themselves) that for bands I'm unfamiliar with there's no quick way to work out what genre they are. Unless I'm missing something.

New gates album got missed here! To be fair I didn't know until recently that they had a new album coming out, but I'm not complaining. Pleasant surprise to be able to listen to it without having to wait now.

Yeah I'm guilty of missing that release here, just totally slipped under my radar even though I was a fan of their debut. I'll add it in later on when I get a chance.

A few in there I already have ordered and waiting on. Minor Victories, Fear of Men and cough. A couple others I'll check out as well. I always listen to the Dark Funeral albums
