Before we get started, a big round of applause to VheissuCrisis and StrangerofSorts, who have now earned the illustrious rank of Staff Reviewer. If receiving such a lofty title as that wasn’t enough, they now also earn unmitigated access to Sowing’s staff car wash service, as well as a signed copy of Babymetal’s last album.

Also a hearty (not big, but hearty nonetheless) round of applause to ComeToDaddy, ExplosiveOranges, JohnnyOnTheSpot and thelastsignal, who have all joined the contrib ranks. And to our returning contributor JamieTwort as well; greatness and one free ice cream await you all.

Here’s a list of major new releases for the week of February 24th, 2015. Please feel free to request reviews for any of the following albums from staff or contributors.

Seriously, the detailing on that car wash is something else. And the fact that he wears a red bikini is just the icing on the cake... the soap on the hood?

Sowing

Redeemable only until the end of February. Hot girl not included.

Didn't think a dude could pull off a bikini car wash, how wrong I was.

Can you put in Red's of Beauty and Rage on the list as well. That comes out on the 24th as well. Not to mention Ponton reviewed it.

Some cool releases this week. Wonder if The Airborne Toxic Event album is any good, loved their debut but haven't stayed recent with them.

Listened to that Emile Haynie record. Pretty good pop album. It actually features some pretty big names (Nate Ruess, Lana Del Ray, Father John Misty, Lykke Li, etc.) So if someone could review it that would be sweet.

How long has this existed?
I created a 'thread' with 0 replies asking if Sputnik ever considered a tentative release page a couple years ago. Damn you all if no one was kind enough to inform me that this was already a regular thing here.

Why the hell we still have these atrocious popups on the phone?
