"Hey I actually contributed to the charts this week!"
I didn't :/

I need to find a way to scroble my iPod plays, since most of my listens aren't on a PC anymore.

^Yeah, I can't do that cos all my song files are on my HDD, outside the actual iTunes folder, and for some reason last.fm doesn't like that. When I get a new laptop I'm gonna see if I can fix that

Also, going by the ridiculous release standards here Calibre's "Spill" comes out on the 20th

"The new Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats album, titled "Mind Control" is due on May 14."

I could only see the local april release date, so cheers for that

"Also, going by the ridiculous release standards here Calibre's "Spill" comes out on the 20th"

Sigh...

It's not ridiculous at all, as I've already explained again and again. But thanks for the constant complaints and insinuations, recently promoted contributor...

On a sidenote, I had that down for the 21st so thanks for the assist!

lol what is "ridiculous" about the release standards? it goes from tuesday to tuesday is that difficult to understand

Brostep
05.14.13
Because most albums come out between Sunday and Tuesday (and a hell of a lot of electronic releases come out every Monday) so I still don't really understand the rationale for splitting Sunday and Monday releases into one week and Tuesday releases into the next. It's like how basically nothing comes out from Wednesday to Saturday, so it seems as though it should be split Sunday to Sunday to keep all three consecutive major release days in the same week.

99% of all albums are not released on a Sunday. And we're not splitting Sunday and Monday, they occur in the same release week. The schedule starts on a Tuesday, and roughly 90% of the releases you see here were released on a Tuesday

Do you get it yet because your constant comments about this are becoming more than tiresome

Brostep

Kind of, I guess I'll just shut up for now even though it appears our arguments aren't directly related to the other's point

Like, to me it sounds like you're saying "because most albums are released on tuesday, we think the release week should start on tuesday" and I'm saying "I get that, but wouldn't it make more sense to start the week on Monday when the other 10% are released and include both Monday and Tuesday in the same week?" and you're saying "You're becoming annoying" and I'm saying "That's blatantly not constructive"
