Is the Michael Kiwanuka a re-release or what? 'Cause I've had the CD for about 6 months.

Crysis
07.30.12
Might review Evoken if I can get my hands on it.

Acanthus
07.31.12
Don't know a lot of these, perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah it's a rather slow week. Maybe that explains the lack of comments/enthusiasm?

Acanthus
07.31.12
That or people are out enjoying the last few weeks of summer break before college? Maybe?

breakingthefragile

Thinking of reviewing of Blur's 21. I mean, I've heard every single Blur album, that's pretty much what it is, but with bonus material included as well, reviewing a box set that massive should prove to be interesting haha.

I'm on the other side of the world :oblivious:

Speaking of, why haven't we seen a Dev list lately; staff issues keeping you from sharing?

Gyromania

Hans Zimmer is so meh

breakingthefragile
07.31.12
That was actually me who was listening to all the Hans Zimmer Gyro lol. It's because I'm been working on that review of The Dark Knight Rises Soundtrack that I really want to get out before 2 am.

"Speaking of, why haven't we seen a Dev list lately; staff issues keeping you from sharing?"

Coincidentally I was going to do one tonight! I did a half year-thingy though

Acanthus

Sweet, I've been looking for more relaxed/chill music for an upcoming gig so I might find something of use (purely selfish reasons for asking I know).

Deviant.
07.31.12
No chill stuff will be present (unless we have different views on what constitutes 'chill" music)

Acanthus
07.31.12
Just looking for things to play at 1pm in a festival, getting more triphop and dub but I'm open to recs.

Deviant.
07.31.12
Oh don't worry, there will be dubstep. There's always dubstep

Acanthus
07.31.12
Was meaning actual dub, but that works too.

Yuli

I may cover Anchor & Braille, never heard of them before but their new album sounds really good.

Yuli

ZedO

Joss Stone released The Soul Sessions Volume 2? Hm, it's interesting! I hope it is as good as her 2003 debut album, The Soul Sesions...

marksellsuswallets: sweet, I added it. If the physical had been next week or whatever I wouldn't have bothered though. Thanks for the headsup!

I just realized I'm gonna have to make the album page for that Blur 21 box set, and since that has every Blur album ever released as well as a disc of bonus material for each album, it just hit me that it's gonna be one HELL of a track listing I'm going to have to write out, I'm thinking possibly longest in the site's history lol.

Deviant.

breakingthefragile
08.02.12
I Just wrote the review tonight klapper, but I'm too beat to attempt to tackle making the album page, so I'll definitely have it up later this afternoon. Also Dev, I was just reminded of how long that track listing you provided me with for the immersion edition of The Wall was, but idk we'll see how long this one turns out.
