Nomadism is the singer/songwriter project of Jeet Mukerji, whose music blends tense electronics and guitars with a dark reason reminiscent of Different Class-era Pulp. Harbouring a slight post-punk lilt and closing with the brilliant “Romance and Violence”, this Soundcloud set is a thoroughly compelling twenty-five minutes of songcraft.

If you listen to one song listen to the closer, it's superb.

Long time, no blog. Hi dudes.

as my esteemed colleague rudy klapper says, romance and violence "is the tits"

*sigh*

The vox man, they bring me down. Lets take the Killers, throw on some reverb and Cake/Modest Mouse influences and you've got what this guy reminds me of.

TL;DR
Acanthus is a debbie downer.

I hear no Brandon Flowers here at all.

romance and violence is, indeed, "the tits"

I don't usually like this kind of stuff, but this is pretty good.

Many will disagree - and I can't pin it down to one particular song - but I think the closer has a bit of a Muse feel to it.

This is really great actually; it has some kind of new, refreshing twist to it. It's memorable, indeed, though the way the vocals were recorded (either with a really shitty mic or there's lots of clipping because he didn't take levels). The drums sound great though, and this is seriously dynamic. I'm liking this dude's stuff immediately

I just listened to the last song it and sounded a lot like muse.
