It’s been about a month since Rebecca Black’s wonderfully inane ode to the JFK assassination, Friday, hit Youtube and became immediately immortalized as one of the greatest memes of all time. Naturally, it’s spawned countless parodies, some genuinely funny, others interesting novelties. But on this Friday, I wanted to share with you the best of them all: the Hell Version. This incredibly well edited cut of Black’s video, which is kind of like if Aphex Twin’s “Come to Daddy” was directed by Marilyn Manson on the worst day of his life, is genuinely terrifying. Bet you never thought you’d hear Aphex Twin, Marilyn Manson, and Rebecca Black mentioned in the same sentence, did you? Check out the video below:

Scary, no?

AliW1993

Probably the best parody I've seen along with the censored one.

On a serious note though, I wish people would just forget she ever existed. I know people who still play the original and think it's hilarious, and it's really starting to get grating.

Hey look, someone took my burning hatred for Rebecca Black and channeled it through a video of Rebecca Black.

"im sick of this fucking shit"

same. i was done with it literally after the first time i heard it, never really understood why this became such a big deal. Its a bad song, people make bad songs every day. we know this.

not hating for this post though, it obviously appeals to people who aren't me (and this was much more interesting than the original video), i just dont get why.

I think I might have been the last person on the face of the earth to listen to this song. In fact, I heard most of the parodies before I actually heard the original.

It's pretty awful, there's no denying that. But it's still better than Converge. :-)

Keep laughing at her song and video, you are only making her rich and famous. All publicity is good publicity. This poor excuse for music should just be ignored , not spread around.

And while everyone gets their giggles from this, talented artists go unnoticed and will never be as successful as she is. Heck, people will most likely even start supporting her.

Thanks a lot, guys. This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh look.

And this was last month.

I find it hard to keep any faith in humanity when stupid things like this keep happening.

Zanders
04.18.11
I googled that and it appears to just be a rumor. But just wait, I'm sure she will be on a bunch of TV shows.

But I've noticed that this kind of thing happens in every field. You have noticed that "fail" videos get more attention than people doing things well, right? You might even end up on some crappy show like Tosh.0.

Zanders
04.18.11
It's still receiving fame for doing something badly. Many people make money from viral videos on youtube, and it's pretty much guaranteed that you will get a flood of views after appearing on a TV show like that. It's more than many people with actual talent will get. There is an obsession people seem to have with watching people do things badly or stupidly.

There are also people that like to spend too much time complaining about things that are bad instead of talking about the things that are good, like what I am doing now. I try to avoid going off and ranting about stuff like this, because in the end it's still giving them attention.

I just wish people would stop and realize that they are making people successful for doing things badly, while the people that deserve the attention go unnoticed.

Things like this should just be ignored.

Implying that the normal version doesn't feel like being sonically tortured in hell.

Electric City
04.19.11
to zanders, the thing thats cool about this is the parody, not the song itself. i posted it because i thought the work done by the guys behind it is clever and well done. at this point its not about laughing about rebecca black but laughing at the clever manipulation of this piece of pop culture. post-modernism and shit idk

BallsToTheWall
04.19.11
Never gets old, this or the original which I doubt you gouts will have the balls to admit that it's really in fact infectiously catchy.

MO
