Look at the new staff making an impact. Ulcerate in the staff top 10 and the new guys are the only ones with new release reviews, so far.

Haha and it's already making a difference! Next you're going to tell me Burzum or something is in the top 10.

Willie

Maybe... I won't listen to it, but I bet Tyler will. Edit: I'm thinking of trying to find out if we can purge all of the last.fm users and start over because I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't even use this site anymore that are still being counted as "last.fm general users".

"I'm thinking of trying to find out if we can purge all of the last.fm users and start over because I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't even use this site anymore that are still being counted as "last.fm general users"."

"I'm thinking of trying to find out if we can purge all of the last.fm users and start over because I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't even use this site anymore that are still being counted as "last.fm general users"." but only the drones use last.fm, you would get the same results week after week albeit with more bad metal

MANOWAR!

Dev518
02.03.11
Why is the last.fm list always so predictable? I thought it was for music discovery, not listening to what's already on your hard drive.

Willie
02.03.11
The user/staff last.fm lists aren't for discovering new music at all simply based on the fact that they list the most listened to albums of the week -- meaning the same shit everyone else is listening to.

Knott-
02.03.11
well yeh last.fm itself is a good tool for discovering new music similar to music you like but idk why you would think a list of hundreds of people's collective tastes would adapt to be of that nature.
