cue masses of people pretending Borland is good

*pretends Borland is good*
|
| |
^But he is good...
"he used to be in a really terrible band that he left because he felt that it was a destructive force in art," Limp Bizkit or FFTL?
tbh this won't change much. I wonder what his new name will be.

| |
I always thought he was about as average as they get.
|
| |
Everyone used to go on about how "Borland was the only talented one" in Limp Bizkit but they never really had anything to back it up with. I'm not saying he's a bad guitarist just saying people let nostalgia get the better of him and because he's the second most instantly recognizable member of Bizkit but much less of a douchebag than Durst he always gets a little more of a benefit of a doubt than he should.

So wes borland has joined the sinking ship that is Marilyn Manson, touche.
|
| |
Limp Bizkit's bassist was pretty decent from the little I can remember.
|
| |
I've blocked all Limp Bizkit out of my mind
|
| |
I thought this was going to be about Al Borland
|
| |
the three instrumentalists in limp bizkit were pretty good actually (the dj was kinda pointless and durst is a fucking abomination). i always thought they shoulda kicked out durst and lethal and got either denis lyxzen or walter schreifels after they left their respective bands. that would've kicked ass.

Wasn't Borland FFTL's bassist? Could've sworn thats what it said in the liner notes on Heroine...This Message Edited On 08.15.08

I thought Black Light Burns was decent actually.

John Otto was very impressive in Limp Bizkit's older stuff but I would really like to hear him in his jazz days.

That's correct.

mediocre guitarist (with legions of under-par american fans) joins forces with mediocre singer/band (with legions of pre-teen wannabe girls and 'hardcore metal' think-they-ares to create ultimate market crossover

Marilyn Manson isnt average
he's horrible on all accounts

With his body paint, he should fit right in.

I love you!

This could possibly be the greatest musical dumb in the history of poo.

So I just listened to a few Black Light Burns tracks out of curiosity and I laughed. Hard. It's like if Powerman 5000 met up with an Orgy cover band and just stopped trying. Wow.

their "Faith" cover was so piss easy on a Fender.
it's one damn chord through the whole song!
Rap Metal is easy as hell to play.
