Geoff Tate's Mindcrime III 2026-05-03 by metalhead2425 | 4 Comments | In the outcome of the notorious Queensryche lawsuit over the rights to the name over a decade ago, Geoff Tate lost the band name, but secured the rights to the Operation: Mindcrime albums allowing for him to create the long-speculated third entry in the series. This album notably features Disturbed bassist John Moyer and Operation: Mindcrime guitarist Dario Parente. It was released on 5/3/2026 and is now available on all major streaming platforms. Physical releases are coming later this year.

Dud! Ryche made something spectacular almost 4 decades ago and this is Geoff’s last stab at making a few more bucks off of the original’s greatness and lore. This is too noisy and compressed and his voice is no longer what it was (which I don’t hold against him, just part of aging). I know he has said he’s retiring soon, good.
