What is this 5FDP type of chorus? That was terrible
| | | Do these guys still sound like Tool and Leprous had a hate child?
| | | This band will remain one of those i have on my phone and go "Oh right this alright" and never venture furthur
| | | Do these guys still sound nothing like any of the bands they're compared to, on account of their abysmal vocals and mediocre by-the-numbers metal arrangements?
Hold on let me pause the other shit I'm doing to take a listen.
Yes.
| | | I love how the bridge offered us a Tori Amos fronted marching beat. That's exactly what I'm looking for in my mainstream pushing hushållsost metal.
| | | Eh, last one was fine but this was pretty boring. Guess we're not getting another Lykaia or Lotus anytime soon.
| | | buttrock 2.0
| | | This kinda... sucks? Imperial was fine, but it really has been going downhill since the fantastic Lotus. This is just a new low.
| | | “and the effect war has on people like you and me that are sent to kill and die and have to pay that price for the rest of their lives."
Those poor soldiers who liquidated a village of civilians. Won’t someone consider their feelings! Also, this track is truly awful and so was the last single.
| | | imperial was a step down (except a couple of tracks that were really good) but this is pretty awful by their standards. this whole bombastic FFDP energy really doesn't suit them, they've always been better when they've been subtle.
| | | The formula is old at this point. The last album was so boilerplate and the production horrendous. This production sounds better but the songwriting is so cringeworthy. I’ll take Tellurian and Lotus any day.

Unfortunately true. I loved everything until Lotus, especially the debut and Lykaia
| | | I've liked all of their albums so far, but this does sound like bottom of the barrel generic American radio metal.
