Motorpsycho Yay! 2023-05-05 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 8 Comments | Norwegian rock act Motorpsycho are back with a brand new album, Yay! on June 16. It marks a departure from the prog rock epics, revisiting their '00s folk/pop aesthetics. The songs were recorded during the COVID lockdown in 2021 by the members (including former drummer Tomas Järmyr) and then given to their collaborator Reine Fiske (Dungen, the Amazing) to produce them alongside his colleague Fredrik Swahn.

Though I adore prog rock epics, I think Phanerothyme from their poppy era is one of their best albums, so hopefully this will be as good. Though the artwork is not that promising
