this sucks
|
| |
this is Linkin Park
|
| |
this is my second comment
|
| |
this life might be the only one
|
| |
both true pizza
|
| |
Pretty decent b-side
|
| |
yea
|
| |
Stop with the mediocre ai videos sheesh
|
| |
I like the second half of this song
|
| |
"Stop with the mediocre ai videos sheesh"
Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice.
Autotune was used decades before the public got to know of its existence.
|
| |
this is definitely a linkin park song. probably would have thought this was the shit when i was 14.
also, someone is a fan of ico
|
| |
That main riff is alive by p.o.d. lol
|
| |
No it isn't!
|
| |
fun!
|
| |
"Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice"
I'd hope the band didn't go this way especially given their unwillingness to perform with a hologram of Chester but it's definitely plausible.
|
| |
i dont think they're suddenly finding this they're just now choosing to put it out. they've always been prolific just look at the LPU albums
|
| |
It 100% is max two kids. Some different notes but the exact same chord progression
|
| |
Alright you've won me over
|
| |
damn... the best song of 2023 is from 2003......
|
| |
"That main riff is alive by p.o.d. lol"
It totally is lmao
|
| |
"Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice"
They have had demos of all these songs lying around for years at this point with the vocals and everything so yeah no. Also, I don't believe it's possible to re-create realistic sounding Chester vocals for a song such as Lost. The AI is not that advanced.
|
| |
Every midwestern kid yelling at their mom does a realistic sounding Chester impression
|
| |
To be fair
|
| |
After One More Light, I thought they can't release anything worse.
I was wrong.
|
| |
For a sec I thought they were releasing new music sans Chester and I was bout to get mildly upset
|
| |
Well, if that would be better than this one... I'd see no problem.
|
| |
Mike has always had some decent lyrics.
I dig this track a lot more than Lost. Reminds me of something that could be on Living Things.
|
| |
This sounds like an early demo of Faint.
|
| |
Guy from Sum 41 does a decent impression
|
| |
@anthrpod tbh I wouldn’t listen either way but I just feel like linkin park without Chester Bennington is just not something that should ever happen
|
| |
@potsytater I understand. It's questionable if anyone would have fun with this.
|
| |
Sounds like Faint had a little brother. Similar sonic ideas with different rhythmic emphases, hm.
|
| |
"After One More Light, I thought they can't release anything worse.
I was wrong."
There is no shot this is worse than anything on OML.
|
| |
When's the tour
|
| |
more AI trash
|
| |
“Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice.

Lol how tight is that tin foil hat you’ve got on.
Holding onto songs for a 20th anniversary release has been common for decades.
|
| |
slaps
dont like the mv though
|
| |
@valkoor OML is crap, but in a different way. Anyway, I'm glad that this song wasn't released on original Meteora.
|
| |
Mikes white boy rapping annoys me so much nowadays lol
|
| |
Tbf he’s always been like that but rose tinted glasses
|
| |
"Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice."
Ladies and gentlemen, the dumbest thing you will read on the internet today.
|
| |
This sounds like an early demo of Faint. [2]
|
| |
Of course the average sputnik folk hate this since it's nu metal. I for one absolutely love the two new Linkin Park singles they released. Amazing songs
|
| |
“Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice."
Personally, I’m waiting for AI to be used to give CatDog some rap features
Also, liking the song. Particularly the ending’s got some melodies i really dig
|
| |
Good shit viraemias. I think I woulda liked it too back when I was more into this stuff
|
| |
“Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice.”
This dude thinks musicians only write/record the music that they release and nothing else.
|
| |
AI was the worst thing to happen to the internet because it unleashed the dumbest discourse by people whose understanding of animation is limited to studio gibhi
|
| |
shinoda is asian
|
| |
I can dig it.
|
| |
I get why it wasn't released, but the song is pretty sick.
|
| |
Someone said this was a P.O.D riff.
Not even P.O.D wants to be P.O.D
|
| |
It sounds more like a rough draft of Figure.09 than Faint to me. The chorus melody, the structure, Mike's lyrics (esp. during the prechorus)
|
| |
Needs more blast beats and guttural pig squeals. And a guitar solo...
|
| |
“Yeah, I also find it quite convenient that suddenly they find a lot of new/old songs from the most popular period of the band when AI are quickly showing their capacity to reproduce someone's voice.
Autotune was used decades before the public got to know of its existence.”
everyone clowning on the first part of this comment (correctly) but the absolute braindead take that autotune was some secret project that existed for ages before people knew about it is hilarious. autotune was developed in 1996 and the general public first became aware of it because of cher's believe in 1998
why do morons insist on having to get their opinions out on topics they know zero about
|
| |
Not bad. Lost is definitely better though. That song should have made the album. This feels more like a b-side.
|
| |
Meteora was the first album I bought the day it came out. Basically shaped all of my musical taste.
This goes. That part at 2:55 is classic LP.
|
| |
Implying that the rest of the guys of LP are such gigantic douchebags that they would ever do something as tasteless as get an AI to replace Chester and release new music in his name has got to be one of the more insulting things I've read in a while. Especially since they've been outspoken about hologram-shows being off-putting.
Maybe think before you speak.
|
| |
I think we’ve buried that guy enough for his slight misstep and can move on
|
| |
Yeah I understand, that shit just triggered the everliving fuck out of me. Moving on.
|
| |
there's something wildly dreamy hearing anything previously unreleased from an era of a band you already thought you heard everything from. felt the same way when Gorillaz did the anniversary stuff with their first album semi-recently
"She Couldn't" was my favorite thing to come out of the Hybrid Theory rerelease stuff, but that was clearly more of a demo than a final thing. These both sound like they just barely missed the cut for the album.
|
| |
this sounds so good...the super nostalgia train just hit me...
|
| |
