Not too dissimilar from their recent works, but that isn't a bad thing as those albums are solid.

Not my favorite by them, but an interesting track, regardless. Solo was neat as well
| |
'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' might not work for every band - but it does if it still feels semi-fresh (depending on what you listen to them for, primarily) as with these guys

I actually think this sounds at least a little different. Little more of a hypnotic effect going on. Pretty cool song
| |
Song works for me. Love this band.
| |
the norm for them is still a fairly vast soundscape that they play around in though, they won't ever be like trapped in one specific sound, I don't think.
| |
^ honestly, same here... they've kinda fallen into autopilot and I've been slowly losing interest every album since then
| |
Hell yes! Been listening to them nonstop lately. The songs Kingdom and Caravans that were previously released will also be on this LP, very cool
| |
Enslaved sound so polished nowadays.
| |
I don’t see how this is autopilot Enslaved; there’s far more focus on percussion acting as the centrepiece of the track than most of their other stuff.
| |
They fell off hard for me after AEO unfortunately (2)
| |
this is one of those bands where people will love different eras because they change up their style multiple times
| |
Nice slug
New slugdge, when?
| |
that instrumental section 3:04-4:08 gave me an eargasm... the horn(s) really tie it together nicely
| |
"Sooner than later, I hope. Did the song remind you of the lads? 👀"
Ahah not really, but the slug on clip did. This song goes pretty hard tho
| |
this is real nice
| |
once again great song from the blackened prog vikings
| |
no idea what yall talking about clean or polished in the context of this song, this is some of the most out there avant-garde and dissonant music they have ever created right here.
| |
For some reason I thought these guys just went full on prog years ago and never looked back. I dig the single. Need to play catch-up I suppose
