Killswitch Engage's new live

2022-04-07 by YesMaMan11 | 10 Comments
Metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage have just announced a new live album entitled Live At The Palladium.

The setlist for the performance includes the entire 2019 album Atonement, as well as the entirety of the band's self-titled 2000 debut record - with a few fun and unexpected surprises.

The concert in question was filmed on August 6, 2021 at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts (the band's home state), and the band streamed the event last year.

why tf would you make your live album consist of two of your least well regarded records?

Probably because they got tired of playing the hits night in night out.

"Most overrated band in the metal genre"

That's because you're putting them in the metal genre. One of the best in the metalcore genre.

I can't help but feel that Killswitch has been left behind. There are so many better songwriters in the metalcore subgenre today.

They can't be left behind if they're a legacy band though.
